I was owner in Facebook page with 3.6 million fans, yesterday this page was removed from Facebook duo copyright, I rightfully believe my page has been removed by mistake. I will be very grateful if you would give me some help or advice about this issue.

    Thanks

Have you already tried contacting Facebook Support? There's nothing much we can do.

    Hello Cherry, thanks for reply.

I've made one appeal via advertiser support and this is the answer from Facebook
    ---------------------------------------
Your Page has been deleted because we received several reports that content on the Page infringed others' intellectual property rights. We informed you each time content was removed from your Page. We also warned you that if you continued to infringe the rights of third parties, we would take additional action on your Page. For these reasons, we are not in a position to restore your Page.
    ---------------------------------------
anyway I am not agree with this decision !

I never used watermark in pics or videos but in the most of times I've included credit or source.

Sounds like you've been reported to Facebook a lot of times already. I guess you just have to say good bye to your page now. :(

That is why i keep saying it is not worth it working on fan pages...

you work hard to promote it or even pay money to advertise (only facebook benefits from it... you are promoting their website... you are paying them to get them on top)

    you think you own it...

    but in the END...

    FACEBOOK OWNS IT...

there we go. if you use someones video without their permission, never ever include them for credits. never. i know its a dickhead move, but almost in 95% of all cases those guys will just report your site for ripping their vids.

Sounds like a lot of hard work lost, that has to hurt. I am not sure FB will unban the page, did you open a "sister" page and try and get most of the users to join that page too? It's always a good idea.

You used other peoples videos without permission, crediting source, not crediting source, it doesn't matter. You need permission, period. Facebook rolled out a new copyright support system so all freebooters are fucked. I suggest anyone with stolen videos cleans house ASAP, or your pages are going to get shitcanned.

In Facebook's reply, they quoted that you were warned few times before. Did you actually receive such warnings? If so, why you didn't take any action during those time?

Yes normally you receive warnings if you are not following the rules and they seem pretty strict about it.

Don't want to rub it in but... at that level you should have created your own content.. you were obviously being lazy...you could have easily turned it in to a media/publishing website and post great articles and monetize... you could have made xx,xxx per month easily.. and just use ads to build page.. you were being lazy and not paying attention to the warnings.. at that size you cannot steal stuff.. your reach is too big..

No matter how many appeals you make, it will always be turned. As bad as it may sound to you, the only thing you can do now is move on.

You had a successful facebook page with 3.6m fans and you were still using "stolen" content?
Why didn't you start making your own content?
Why didn't you have some type of sister-site/page as a backup if you knew what you were doing was against their rules?

And the most important part: Why didn't you stop when they warned you?!

Imagine the revenue that could be made if most of the fans were active.
