Facebook huge organic reach drop because of new layout + updating algorithms for pages ?

I build up a 100k fanpage and had a reach of 500k. All of a sudden it dropped to 20k and I am really asking myself if I shouldnt pack my bags and leave to G.
I boosted a post for 5$ to see if that is working at least so does facebook do that on purpose to suck more money or is it because of the updates ?

It's pointless to even talk about this because we cant change a damn thing anyway but just let me know what you think about this whole shit game facebook is playing right now.

facebook will soon become like friendster ,orkut and like other social media websites
my 850k page also getting just 2% of reach
is it only for page or also for profile ?
if i post something in profile will it reach every one in my list?

I read some article that soon organic reach will be 0%
