Hey Guys, Some of you may know this information, some of you may not. Regardless, hope you appreciate it either way. Facebook is a great marketing channel because of its REACH. The goal in a FB campaign is to create engagement with your offer, site, and/or brand. The more engaging the FB users are with your brand the more it will show in their news feed thus creating more reach for you. Below are some notes that have worked well across our FB campaigns: Posts between 200-250 characters, you will see 60% more likes, comments, and shares with posts under 3 lines of text. Post 3-5 times a week to stay top of mind for fans. Post when you should. For example, user engagement with pages is highest from 9-10pm if you are 18-21. Post photos and videos. It is proven that a picture, video, or gallery, will get 150% more engagement then just a post. Use close up images and a single color that stands out, this will get peoples attention Use your audiences jargon, if you are promoting to SEO experts, use the jargon that they would understand, and use their voice. Be a hero, be a problem solver. Cater to their problems and post about it. Incentivize the engagement by giving them exclusive access to content, products, or events Give them coupon codes or sweepstakes Encourage interaction. Create a question post and literally write in "fill in the blank". Push the engagement within the first half of the post. For example, "Comment below by answering this question, Who is the #1 BHW poster? Fill in the Blank" Recognize your fans.... think Tosh.0, take comments from fans and feature them. So those are just some bullets to keep in mind when engaging with your audience on networks like Facebook.
