How many Facebook fanpages can be created under one Facebook account. I have a dozen of websites. Since most of them are not doing well, I am planning to create a facebook fanpage for all of them. so, I am wondering how many does facebook allow under one account. Should I create multiple facebook accounts with individual fanpage for each website. Does that help in any way. Thanks in advance!

I have 40 fanpages till now no restriction you can try upto 50 and tell us

I haven't found the cap yet, would be interested to know if there is one.

Thanks for the reply. I don't think, I will be creating 50 under one account. The point here is that if the account gets banned for any reason, all 40 pages will be lost. Whereas, if it is spread across few accounts, I think it is better. At least, that's what I think.

P.S- Since you already have 40, I am assuming that there is no fanpage limit.

I've done 10 on an account. As long as your sites are fb friendly you should be just fine.

There are no caps if all your fan pages and sites are WH and follow FB TOS. I have like 150 fan pages for a local business for 150 Indian cities they are in one FB account which we manage for them. We post contests and trivia content in them to engage fans.

you can make many but keep this in mind if that acct is banned the fan page goes with it so i will say just make one per acct...

You can have many many fanpage under one account. If they were money-making related pages (i.e ones you may spam) then id create a maximum of one page per account.

If its for a genuine website you may want to create a few pages under the account. Just remember though, if the one account gets banned, you will lose all pages.

At one point I had 200+ fan pages hosted under the same account, but with multiple admins. Be careful hosting lots of fan pages under one account without assigning additional fb accounts that you control as admins. Never know when FB could disable an account.

The only change that FB has implemented is that if you haven't had any fan activity on your page or admin posts in awhile they will unpublish the page.

You can easily go back and publish it again. Just important to check if your pages aren't increasing in number.

To all of the posters above -- you won't lose all of the pages if you assign additional accounts that you control as admins to the page.

If your smart you will be wise and just put 1 page on 1 account. If the page has over 100k like then add a second admin.

Accounts cost peanuts, so why run the risk of loosing 10, 30 or 40 pages in 1 go.

If your too lazy to put 1 page on 1 account then FB is the wrong game to be in.
