Facebook exploits and vulnerabilities dont come around very much in the marketing world, but they crop up all the time in the security sector.

Makes you wonder why some of these whitehat security bloggers dont JV with somebody with FB marketing skills.

So, here is a list of all the people who have found exploits and reported them to Facebook in exchange for a couple of thousand bucks.

If you are struggling to find exploits, but have tons of marketing skills, why not try reaching out to some of the guys on this list and ask them if they want to go blackhat.

more likely they get some nice cash amount instantly, plus a possible job proposition from FB

if they go blackhat, they need to find someone to partner with, might get ripped off, will take some time till they start earning money, probably the method will get leaked fast and etc..

plus, most of the security / programming people have no marketing brain and they find exploits for fun, pleasure and self provement

Possibly, but I hear that most of them only get 500-1000 bucks, for the really good stuff they get more. But considering that a decent XSS exploit or some way to auto post to a users facebook account can earn you over $100,000 in a day if you know what your doing, its worth trying to befriend some of these people and build some trust with them, they are clearly very intelligent people. But you are exactly right about them being coders and us being marketers, rarely do you find an individual who possesses the skills to find huge exploits and then have the thinking to apply that in a way that could secure leads instead of securing server code.
