Facebook event problem

So I made a facebook event page for my sister who is having a fundraiser MS walk next week. I've never made an event page before this.

But I made the event and then when it came to invite all her friends I used the code in the browser so it would select them all at once which it did and then I hit submit. There were around 400 friends total all invited at once.

So then a hour later or so I checked the event page and noticed that in the "Awaiting reply" section there were only 11 people total. From what I understand, this means that only 11 people have received the invite so far.

I figured there maybe a delay so I waited 24 hours which is about now and it still only has 11 people total on the page, 8 awaiting response. Oh and all 11 people's names start with the letter "A".

So anyone know what the problem is? Why haven't the other 390 some people received their invites yet?

Hopefully someone who has dealt with event pages will know the answer.

Nobody knows the answer to this?

I think they are having problems at the moment with events, becuase I have seen the same thing happen when I sent out 4,000 requests last night...and it only showed 500 send, then I check it 24 hours later all 4000 sent out...
