What happens now? Am I off the hook for that payment that was owed?
simply contact your bank and ask for full refund due facebook disabled your account
go to bank immediately and explain them.
I believe you are doing prepaid ads. there is no other way but to chargeback.
to make it clear
I ran ads, and ran up a balance of $150 (this is the threshold on the account.)
I can't do a chargeback since i havn't paid the $150
I'm just asking if I would still have to pay Facebook for the ads, or am I just off the hook now, since they disabled my account which owed them a balance.
I guess you just have to delete your payment method from that account. You would not be charged anymore but better do it before the end of the month.
From my experience you won't be charged, I got my account disbaled when I owed fb about 500$ and never had to pay that
@Zapdron you will be charged if your payment method is still attached and there is running balance. Best is you delete the payment method right away.
That was about 1 year ago, so I doubt they will charge me now, but maybe things changed nowadays
I always have a Used Prepaid card as the payment method.
I can't get charged.
Not like it really matters to Facebook. I guess they just chalk it up as a loss
