    Hi all,
I am a long time reader of all the information here on BHW, really love it, but just signed up for an account today as I need some advice!

In a nutshell, my FB advert account was flagged, a second one setup and flagged again.
I have now purchased a private proxy (I am in the UK, using a USA private proxy)
After setting up the FB page and creating a page to promote, facebook defaults to a Brazilian currency, or on previous pages some mad currencies from the middle east or somewhere crazy like that.
My question is, why when I do not use a proxy does this not happen? it all stays in GBP. And why when using a USA proxy does the currency not default to USD?
It would seem FB knows I am using a proxy? but why all these bizzare currencies, because as soon as I add a USD virtual credit card from Neteller it gets flagged almost straight away.
    So in short:
1: Does FB know I am using a proxy? If yes how can I properly cloak my geolocation?
2: Why is the currecny not defaulting to USD for payment?
3: Does FB know I am using a virtual credit card? Is this a problem?

Really look forward to your replies and getting really inviolved in the discussions here on BHW!

    Thanks.

Sure this is a private US proxy? Sounds like their GEO-targeting detects another country than you have been told you'll get.

I was told it was a private proxy. Just purchased 2 for $5/month from NewIPNow website
I set it up in mozilla, did some IP location testing and searching on google and it all showed up that I was in NYC, USA! so I thought I was golden. its just FB payment currency defaults in this case to Brazlian $ which confused the heck outta me!
