Again, FB is spending my money as fast as possible and it's boggling my mind. I made a previous post and the most recommended solution was that I change my timezone from Hong Kong to US, since I'm targeting the US.

But what I don't understand is: Why must my ad account be in the same timezone as the target audience in order to prevent FB from spending my budget as fast as possible?

If I targeted other countries like the UK, CA, or AUS, it's not like I'd have to change my ad account timezone JUST to make sure FB spends my budget steadily right? How would I target multiple countries if that's the case?

Anyways, IT'S MAKING MY CPM $60!!! HELP! PLZ D:

hey, there is an option on Ads that gives you the option for the add to be delivered on standard way or accelerated way. Can you check that? maybe your ad is set to accelerated, which spends the daily budget as soon as possible

Regarding the timezone problem. Another thing that might have happened is that your ad might have been approved on let's say 23:00, that would force facebook alrorithm to spend all your daily budget in 1 hour

Thanks for your response. It's actually really odd. For the campaign I'm currently running, I literally do not see any option to select 'standard or accelerated' delivery.

I created a draft campaign and for that campaign I could see the option. It's so weird, but I guess I will kill the old campaign and select a new one.

P.S. It is not the ad approval time. I have started the ads at several different times and FB still tries to spend everything within 3 hours...

yea thats odd. Hopefully it will work now with the new ad setup

Please use another account. I think the problem lies with the account itself

About the schedule, the only thing you should do is to set the ads to start at 12:00 AM. Just that, regardless of your time zone, it doesn't matter, just put that in your adset and the ad will start running at 12:00 AM of the time determined in your ad account (and that is ideal).

About CPM, assuming you are getting high CTR, I suggest testing many audiences, other countries, other ages, etc.

That's what I thought too. But... I created a new campaign and unselected CBO and this time the pacing was perfect. Still have absurd CPM's though lol!

Thanks for the suggestions. I have decent CTR around 3% but CPM is trash. I'll probably test different variables now to figure out why
