    Hi guys,

I am relatively new to this forum and explore the options for Facebook Ads right now. I want to start with White Hat methods to get some experience before turning my hat black.

What kind of campaigns worked best for you? Did you try to find high paying offers (sales) or do you also work with email/zip CPA offers that might only pay $2 / lead?

Example: I found an email/zip offer, which pays $2 / lead (CPA offer). My ad got approved but my bid is probably too low. But if I raise the bid price I won't make any money anymore. On the other hand if I choose an offer, which pays $20-30 then my click price could go much higher but the conversion would most likely be much lower and I won't got so many clicks either.
How much percent revenue do you expect to generate from White Hat methods (no cloaking, redirecting)?

Any suggestions to help me avoiding common pitfalls?

You are correct in thinking that the higher the offer payout the lower the conversion is in most cases, etc..
    but i'll tell you this,
most people on Facebook aren't there to buy products, they are networking and socializing.. so the offers that convert well are submits/freebies.
If I was you and just starting i'd try several different submit campaigns.
    Good luck
