Facebook ads are suddenly slow

my ads were doing great until January 31st. then i had a break,and i have now started again, on February 9th. and now, the same ads are running very slow,and it seems that the click price is even bigger. i've contacted FB support and here is waht they say:



"We have received an update from our Internal Team and we would like to share with you the update below:

We have taken a look at ad set: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and it appears that under delivery is occurring because the ad is not very competitive at auction compared to similar ads competing for the same audience.

The recommendation would be to either choose a more relevant audience or improve the quality of the ad. They may also want to try using a more competitive bid strategy such as lowest cost."

By slow what do you mean? Not spending enough? Or Not getting enough conversions?

Possible reasons:- If you have just restarted the campaign give it some time....its normal to see underperformance when you restart a campaign after some time. This is becz when you pause a campaign it gets taken off the auction. If you are using lifetime budget, try switch it to daily & keep the daily spends on the higher side to give it enough space to make place in auction.

Apart from these :-
1) Try increasing you audience size by add / testing out new targeting
2) Try Lookalike audience
3) Try using new creatives/ad types ( Give gifs a try).
4) Try including instagram, if not doing already.
5) Be patient - Let the FB algorithm optimize

You should see an increase in performance

i had to make a new ad,new post. the page remained same. all good now.
