    Hi Guys,

Going through all the money methods, I decided to jump into Shopify on Facebook via Dropshipping and give it a go. I made a Shopify Site, added a personal url and created a Facebook page. Fanpage was creating this week and my first ad went up yesterday at 00:01, so it's been up for around 40 hours now.

I haven't made a sale yet and I'm wondering if it's normal or if it's time to kill the ad or check for a new audience. First off, the ad is very similar to another ad that has over 12k Likes and 500 shares etc. No idea how long that ad has been running or how much they are spending.

    Here is my setup:

    Audience size: 70,000
Targeting: 6-8 different page likes and 2 MUST HAVE Habits.
Per day: 7$ CAD (5US roughly)

    Results:

    Reach: 1261
    Post Engagements: 199
    Cost: 0.05
    About Spent: 10.44 (CAD)
    18-24: 115 Post
    25-34: 71 Post
    35-44: 5 Post
    45-54: 8 Post
    55+: 0 Post

    Ad has:

    - 2 Link clicks
    - No Sales

I was thinking of removing Everyone over 35 and concentrate on the younger crowd but with the weekend coming up, should I bother or more importantly, is this ad a failure since I am not getting sales or link clicks?

    Thanks!

It's not a free + shipping ad. It's a 50% off limited time free shipping ad.

Ad has a nice picture and the link to the collection instead of the product but the first thing they see is that product. Anyway, no one is coming to the site so that's notnthe issue.

What would you change? Need more info?

    Thanks.

From what you say it looks like that its not the image thats wrong, but the way ad is setup itself.
Is it optimized for clicks to your site?

Honestly I'm not sure. When I look at my ad details, it says: Campaign: Engagement

Is that what I need to look at to tell? Ugh, I'm such a noob lol.

You have 2 links clicks so of course you're not going to get any sales....
Try to optimize the ad for clicks to website instead of post engagmeent

Ok so last night, around midnight, I paused my Post-Engagement Ad and made 2 new campaigns with the exact same Ad. The first campaign went to the exact same audience, with the option of not showing it to those who already engaged in the previous campaign and then the 2nd campaign to a totally different group that would dig what I am selling.

The First Campaign still had about 70k Audience.

Setup: 70k Audience (Same as the Post-Engagement which had about a 10% Engagement rate)
    Cash: 5$ per day
    Campaign: Conversions
    Pixel: Add To Cart

    Results:
    Reach: 226
    Reactions: 4
    Link click: 2
    Add to cart: 0

    The Second Campaign:

    Setup: 400k Audience
    Cash: 5$ per day
    Campaign: Conversion
    Pixel: Add To Cart

    Results:
    Reach: 325
    Reactions: 6
    Comments: 1
    Link click: 1
    Add to cart: 0

They have both been running under a day. I wonder, with these numbers, is it too early to tell or does this seem like an Ad kill? Keep in mind that this same ad is on another seller's facebook page and has 31k likes on it.

    Thanks.

from my experience using fb ads, you must put a bait first before showing your selling post. people nowaday hate ads on fb. they will scroll down and don't want to see any ads.

i give you example. let say you sell health product "weight lost pil" then what you need to do is create a post with a guide on "tips on how to loose your weight without hurting yourself". give people value so they will thinking there is nothing wrong with the post. link them to article on your site. set pixel on your site to capture the data. don't put any link about selling. try to create the guide from different page. 1 is your selling page, 2 is your guide page. make the people see the benefits.

ads must be running 7 days before you can tell whats is the problem with the ads. you need enough data to measure the ads. of course there will be a cost to put a bait. there's a lot of technique to learn using fb ads. you can create new audience using people who react from the post, then running ads to sell from people who has read the guide. hope you can understand. lots of method using fb ads. tq
