A guy over at my Skype list sent me this article saying that FB massively banning CPA/Aff accounts for cloaking:
    http://www.imgrind.com/facebook-massively-wiping-cloaked-cpa-ad-accounts/

Has anybody witnessed any issues lately with FB? seems kinda weird for me, none of my clients who cloak FB had reported such an issue. Moreover, the guy who wrote this article didn't supply any evidences nor had he pointed out any valid resource to support his claims.

    What are your thoughts here?

how would they identify a cloaking account? I mean FB has pledged to cut down on fake accounts but how would they find them all??? Haven't noticed anything yet.

It's not hard to not get caught cloaking as long as you are good at cloaking. You can't be obvious when you do it. It is also not hard to get multiple accounts if you know how to trick Facebook. I have at least 4 accounts for one domain.

    Well, I got banned yesterday.

I had a account running for a couple of months, I've spent over 4.000$ on it and "just like that", they disapproved all my ads, so I was like "ok, I'll just change the ads", I've changed the text, image and url of the ads, and after 30 min, I received a e-mail saying:

    "Hi,

Our records indicate that your payments account was disabled due to suspected fraudulent activity. In the interest of protecting our users, we will not be able to reenable your payments account. This decision is final.

    Thanks for your understanding,

    Bob
    Risk Management
    "

I couldn't resist, and sent Bob an e-mail saying "fuck you bob".

But, I'll try to use a cloaker, different paypal account, with a different name, different IP and MAC, basically, a totally new and real "person", and I'll see if I'll be able to run my ad for 30 minutes or for another couple of months.

Tomorrow I can post my results here.

Change PC / laptop too, and browser. So much stuff to track from it nowadays that is better to make total shift on every field, from hardware / software to connections, accounts, everything to be new...

Yeah, I will do that, I'll even use the Internet of some random neighbour (Unsecured Wi-Fi), instead of using proxies/cyber-coffee.

I did this before when I got banned from Google Adwords and it worked, I'm still advertising with Adwords until this present day, I don't think Facebook will be smarter than Google, but tomorrow I'll get my answers.
If, I manage to correctly ban the Facebook IP range with your cloak script, of course, lol. :p

Facebook has lots of ranges from different countries (not just the US), u need a good solid cloaker that is updating constantly. Moreover, I have detected, for the last three months, new FB bots and IP ranges that behave smartly - so take that into consideration before initiating Cloaking moves on your acc
