    Try working with jQuery and then set $(".classNamehere").css("opacity": 0.8);

    For example:

    HTML:
    <html>

    <head>

      <script src="jquery-1.4.4.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

    </head>

    <body>

      <div class="opa">

        your script here

      </div>

        <script type="text/javascript">

     $(document).ready(function(){

       $(".opa").css({opacity: 0.1});

     });

      </script>

    </body>

    </html>
