Hey guys, so I was using GSA to build links to my blog network sites. These sites were linking to my moneysite.

This was my first time using GSA. I had generated content from Kontent Machine and spun it using SpinnerChief. Anyway, there was only one link in the article but GSA put 2 more links in the article by itself :/

I only checked that after it had already built hundreds of links. So the articles now contain backlinks to 1-2 of my blog network sites at the same time.

I was thinking I should drop these domains since Google might penalize my moneysite knowing that I own all these blog network sites but all that hard work would be lost.

What do you guys think? Should I dump the sites and move on with new domains or keep the domains?

I was thinking maybe I could do a 301 redirect instead.

Google will not penalize your website for that reason. Just keep the domain.

Focus on creating quality backlinks and social signals for your money site though.

    Are you sure?

Nope. GSA is way better, it takes some time to learn it and set it up properly but it's well worth the trouble.

Does anyone else see the irony in that statement in this thread? ;)

Srs - you won't have to worry too much about it if it's just one article. Why not just go and remove those extra links (or is it published on someone else's property?)
Even if you can't since it's just one article it's not really going to be a huge headache once it's buried in with all the other quality links going elsewhere.

It's an Algo, of course it can be gamed.

I wouldn't worry about it. If you get penalized, drop the domains. Sometimes it will take a few weeks to get the old ranks back (minus the gains you got from the network), other times you might need to email Google, but you can get your site back without too much trouble if that blog network is the reason.

Did you even read my whole post? GSA has submitted the articles to hundreds of places, retrieving the logins and then going there to change the links is going to be a BIG headache.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I was having some doubts about that but thanks much for clearing that up.
