Tired of these fuckers, I just log into my bank account this morning, and see I've been given two overdraft fees totaling $80 in ONE day, for the SAME account.

I get on chat to talk to a rep, and he says that they emailed me twice warning me to deposit money or I'd receive an overdraft charge (LIE, never received any email until this morning, once the two charges had already been made).

Any suggestions to get out of this? These guys are pissing me off lol

That's who I bank with. They won't budge unless it's your first time. Mine are $35 each though. I have a huge list of things they do that piss me off. It's the only international bank around here, and I have to drive 30 minutes each way to top it off!

Call back and hopefully get a different rep. I noticed some are more willing to forgive then others.

What's pissing me off is that they charged me one $35 fee on the 25th of November. Then the SAME day, they charged another $35 fee on the same account.

But it clearly says:

"Please note: If your account has a negative balance for 5 consecutive business days, you will receive an additional one-time Extended Overdrawn Balance Charge of $35 on the sixth day."

I'm not sure how they count their days...25th to the 25th is certainly not 5 days.

Open a complaint on BBB and they will call you within a few days and offer to reverse the fees. I hate BBB, but they are good for leveraging businesses that pisss you off..

Thanks guys. I hate being rude to customer service people, I really do. I've worked a job in customer service before and I know how hard it is. But this first guy I spoke to just pissed me off, I just exited the chat box in the middle of him typing. He was just copying and pasting their company polices..wtf. I'm not here for a Bank of America 101 class, I wanna get those fees reversed hahaha

I feel like them charging me 2 overdraft fees on the same day is like...giving me 2 parking tickets while being parked in the same place..

Did you have two overdraws in one day? First goes negative, and then you bought something else? I've used banks and had several the same day.

Yeah, looks like that's what happened. If so, that is the STUPIDEST policy I have ever heard. I mean, obviously if I knew I had overdrafted, I would not use the card again until I had deposited money. These guy's just ruined my day :mad2:

I took the overdraw thing off my account. Now I never get them using my debit card. Only if money is directly withdrawn from my bank account. I'd look into that if I were you. I know a lot about having an overdrawn account. :o

Yeah, looks like that's what I'll do. These idiots aren't budging. Thanks! :)

BOA fucking sucks, I have been praying they crumble and burn.

LOL, I know man, they have been getting worse and worse. I think it's time for me to consider switching banks.

I use boeing credit union. I have never used a major bank and never will. Those fees are fucking out of control. We need a free-market in banking so these companies fail, or if they stay alive have to compete with others based on market demands.

in a couple of weeks im going to Close 3 Acc. from BAC.
im smart enough to count my money, and im not gonna pay any Fee to BAC fackers.

my good friend had this same problem. here is my suggestion on how to get out of this: close the account. either dont have a bank account at all (which is the best option) or move to a different bank. i have heard that bank of AMERICA is now owned by the yakuza JAPANESE mafia. ironic, right? i heard that they are now the largest shareholder but of course no one is going to tell you that, ESPECIALLY them. so just remember that when you are doing business with bank of america that you are actually doing business with murdering criminals. the entire world is owned, operated, and controlled by literal criminals. stay as far away from them as you can. get away from that damn bank OP

... the entire world is owned, operated, and controlled by literal criminals. stay as far away from them as you can...

Stay away from the entire world? I'm sure that would be pretty difficult. lol

And the banks are the biggest criminals of them all, without being owned by the mafia.

are too many things, we never know about.... but i remember about 5-6 years ago, Bank of Am. was my best choice and they was very Good to do business with...but the last 2 years, ohh God, im tired, but i closed my eyes every time, Not this time, Im not gonna pay any Penny in Fee for this fuckers.

Yeah screw them. Thinking of closing my bank after this. $80 in overdraft fees for spending $5 (I overdrafted $5). Fuck them. I chatted with 3 customer service reps and all they would do is tell me their company policy. Wtf

If you go to etrade they will deny a purchase instead of accepting it and charging overdraft.

Using a credit union or a local bank is the best way to go. No minimum wage customer service rep cares about you or your problems. BOA has been sticking it to their customers for years, and why people never change banks is beyond me. It will get worse before it gets better.
