How much it pays you for 1k page view and where are come your major visitors?

Compared to Adsense, Ezoic gives me a better result. But I am not satisfied with my current empv.
For almost 3 months now, I am only getting an average of $4-5 epmv.
Yesterday, I have 4.7k visits and earned $20.
Someone I know earned more than $30 for just 1k traffic. Maybe it's the niche.

its because of the niche,content length(means more number of ads per page), ad type and the location users are visiting from
