    Hi all

I operate a niche website and have written about 100 Ezine articles for the same niche.

I was thinking about including an Ezine Widget on my homepage to help bolster up my content. I want to know if the Ezine widget will give me a significant boost in SERP rankings.

Also, when I include the widget in the homepage, IE browser gives a small pop up to people who visit my webpage that this page may be unsafe or whatever and asks people to click to allow it.

Will this be a huge turnoff for people coming in. I have about a 65% bounce rate as it is and do not really want to risk making it worse.

Please share your thoughts and I would particularly love to hear from someone who has seen any benefits with the Ezine widget.

    Thanks

I tried this out on a couple of my sites when I first heard about it and it didn't do anything for me short of lead people off my sites and to the original posting of the articles.

They do generate a little bit of content boost for your site but they take the visitor that uses them off your page.

I wouldn't waste the time, I only ran it for 4 hours of the original 24 hour test window I was going to give it due to it losing me a few hundred hits and lost uncountable revenue during that time due to no one that clicked off site through that thing being on the sites to still buy anything.

My recommendation is to steer clear of it. It doesn't allow you to post to your accounts through it and it does take the traffic using it offsite.

Thanks for the advice. I was also pretty skeptical about it as it did not seem popular at all. They do however give you a widget that displays just your articles. But you are right about people being led off somewhere as they can read your article and then move on to the thousands of the other articles as well.

I don't think I will be implementing it. Thank you for your opinion.
