My articles are being rejected because I am "promoting a product". How do these need to be worded/linked so that EA will not slap me for this?

What are some other good sites to submit articles (to gain backlinks.) besides EA/AC?

Thanks in advance.

When you write your article, concentrate on specific keywords for your niche products - and don't overdo it.
Mentioning specific products in your articles will get you the spam label
You can then send readers who like your article, to your website which you include in your sig at the end of the article.
That's where you make your sales pitch
Good informative articles establishes your cred which can then translate into sales

So it shouldn't be in the format of a review? Since that would need to include the product name.

Should I be linking to a review (landing) page? I'm planning to promote an undecided clic*kbank product or two.

Thanks.

If you are reviewing a product, ezine articles has a section on reviews. Put your review anywhere else and you'd be blacklisted for spam.

Try to promote the product without actually promoting it. Does that even make sense? lol Just write an informative article on the product without trying to sell it. Stop being the marketer and try to be the consumer if you were to read an article on this product what would make you want to buy it? Hopefully all that makes some sense. :)

Yes guys this makes sense. I appreciate all your input.

I believe I am going to create a dog website, complete with obediance advice and dog names listing(ill be using my own content pages resubmitted as articles). I think I'll try and market obediance training solutions for dogs?

Has anyone tried this niche with success/failure?

Thanks again.

Hi Rendix

One of my clients is succeeding in this business. But what he did was to get someone to create the products for them, i then designed their graphics and wrote the sales page and Landing pages for them. He is selling the product using one shopping cart software for an affordable price.

It's a competitive market, but if you do it right, you will get your own bigger slice. Even small things like writing unique articles, etc will profit you. With articles, write like a normal human being who is encouraging another fellow being the appropriate course of action they should take. Don't worry about click my link and stuff, they will figure that out themselves. Provide the information you need, concetrate on the main keyword of your niche or subniche, you will profit eventually.

You can profit in any niche, provided you do it right.

Try to promote the TYPE of product and not the product itself. If you're pitching bookmarking demon, write the article on boomarking submission tools, in general. Mention some of the other players in the article and try to sound un-biased. You can still link to your site which pushes one of them...orrrrr, you could tweak your landing site and make it a review-type site, load up aff links for ALL the products your review and make money no matter what tool they buy. Make lemonade from lemons...

Once again thank you all for your comments.

I'll basically have the site revolve around generalized dog disobedience, and be adding affilliate links at the end of my "articles".

Does this sound correct?

(Sorry to double post, couldn't edit)

Also - if an experienced member would be willing to look at my page and read my copy I'd be most appreciative.

I don't want to just place my link up here yet but please send me a PM if you feel you can offer a valuable critique.

Thanks.

I dont believe ezine allow you link direct to affiliate you need to redirect or have a landing page.

Rendix, I will try to be helpful, l have lots of accounts with the article directory and always get my articles accepted but at the very beginning l joined the owners newsletter to ensure l got the articles correct he even has a video showing you how to submit your articles. So my suggestion is go and join his newsletter and you'll learn quickly and be updated in case any rules of submission change.
