I am planning to do article marketing and have a few question and hope that it will be answered by the kind folks here at BHW...

As you may or may not know Ezine article only allow up to 3 words for an anchored link.

I need my squidoo lens to rank for a long tail that is up to 5 words long... How do I anchored text link this in ezine which only allows 3 word anchor text link?

Is anchoring my squidoo url will have the same effect as anchoring a long tail?

My squidoo url contains my 5 word long tail fyi.

    Thanks

I have several articles on ezine that have an anchored link longer than 3 words that I put up last month and all got approved. I think what you may be referring to is that you are only allow to have 3 separate links within the resource box.

If you want to put your raw squidoo link in the resource, I don't think they will have a problem even if your url has a 5 word keyword in it. But for seo purposes it would be better if you made it into an anchored text link.

    Hope this helps.

No, that's exactly what I meant about 3 word anchored text... It's been a while since I've submit to ezine, the last one they did not allow more than 3 words...

    They probably lifted that restriction...

Thanks though... I'll find out if it works for me...
