EZA editors may be even more annoying to deal with than wikipedia mods

I get articles rejected for the most insane reasons.

I mentioned a product in an article and suddenly my article is rejected on account of being "overly promotional."

Are you fucking kidding me? I see 100s of articles on there that are blatant sales pages disguised as "reviews." They mention the product name 50 times in the article while saying that "it really worked for me!" and "it is definitely not a scam!" (usually for some bullshit weight loss or homeopathic drug bullshit product) and they accept it, yet I mention a product name ONCE and it's "overly promotional?" lol. It's even more lulzy when it's spun bullshit. I think half the EZA editors are drunk on the job to allow spun bullshit through.

I almost made a thread today full of examples of shitty spun EZA articles. They're like this:

"And the best thing of (homeopathic drug) is that it can really works good. I was use it for the 3 weeks and after completed in having some weight loss. Supremely loss of weight was good and the health."

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? That shit gets through but my article doesn't? What the fuck is going on over at EZA???

The most ridiculous part is that if they reject an article for being "overly promotional" they won't even tell you. You get a message that says "contact us to find out the reason." So you have to waste another day or two waiting for a reply from them. They give you reasons for most of their rejections, but not for "overly promotional." It makes no sense.

And then if you do email them and ask, you get a form letter in return.

EZA sucks. Unfortunately, they suck less than every other article directory on the internet, so dealing with their bullshit is a necessary evil.

Don't get me wrong, probably 1 out of every 50 articles I submit gets rejected, but when it does, it's almost always for a bullshit reason that results in an argument between me and the editors. I don't change my articles until they give me a concrete, non-form letter explanation of why it was rejected, and it often involves me sending them 5 or 10 examples of articles that break the same "rules" that caused mine to be rejected.

    Lawyered, bitch.

Holy shit I feel better now.

Are you sure this article is not over a couple of years old? Maybe they got more strict in the recent times. I've never got any article rejected by them. Only have about 8 up though.

Btw, the second sentence doesn't even make sense. Did you make it up yourself for the sake of example (can't find this article via google)?

Too bad, I feel the same for PayPal!

I've noticed the same insanity recently.

I got an article rejected because in the title I had wordone wordtwo and in the body only once I had it as wordonewordtwo the only difference was the space between wordone and wordtwo. Before you ask I wasn't keyword stuffing either it was just a mistake.

Yeah I made it up. But that's pretty much what every spun sentence sounds like anyway.

A lot of the articles are spun badly. I ran through the rejections for overly promotional also. Just cut it down to no more than two links in the article plus the authors box. Hell, most of the time I don't even link in the article anymore, just use the authors box.

I know how you feel really. Just today, I got an article declined with a clear human explanation that it was under 400 words and using too many words in an anchor link text (you're not supposed to use more than 3 words in an anchor link text under 400 words. You can use 5 words if its over 400 words). So, it was declined for excessive anchor link text. Makes sense! Oh wait...

It wasn't under 400 words. It was 539 words. That tells me that the editor didn't even read the article. It wasn't even using more than 3 or 5 words in the anchor - it had only 1 word.

Its not just a matter of being annoying anymore. It is a matter of being an incompetent editor. Yes, they exist. And while I have always suspected that they are incompetent, they confirmed that for me on a personal level.

It seems as though the rules change every few months and it is such a pisser when they reject something because it will take days to get it reviewed again.

You're better off not arguing with them, just change the article slightly resubmit and 9 times out of 10 it will go through.

After all you're only wasting your own time, even if you do get them to change their minds without you having to change the article.

I agree and disagree with ya. The only reason I will say that EZA's process is messed up is because most of us are trying to reach platinum status.

I think that they purposefully do this bullshit to keep us at basic plus. I have had a few articles that were of good quality get rejected, while some other crap article makes it in their directory.
