    From what I understand, the idea doesn't work as well now, but you could use it to generate misspellings of popular domain names that you then register if they're available, for hopefully some free traffic.

    I don't know that this is the purpose of this tool. For something like that, an automated domain availabilty checker could maybe be incorporated. With that however, proxy support would maybe be needed as well.

    The tool could also be used to generate misspellings of popular keywords that you could then check stats and possibly optimize for, but I don't think this is as effective now either, because search engines often detect misspellings and show results for (what the search engine determines is) the correct spelling.
