    Okay

    To be honest, I suck.
I'm not making anything at the moment that's worth posting about.
    I should be.

I've spent a good while over the years reading/etc about stuff...but never really implementing anything properly or trying stuff out.

Yes, I've made money before, fully whitehat. (Id say about 1500$...mighnt seem like much to a lot of you ;) but to me and my extreme laziness, it has been enough, paying for games, band merch, concert tickets, a video camera, hard drive and other stuffs...everything I've really needed)
I could have scaled up my methods, and made a huge amount. However I've been lazy as shit and so my sites/ways have slowly died.

Facebook seems like it'd be the best way for me to progress, I currently have:
Facebook Friend Adder Pro (awesome piece of software btw...well worth getting a copy of)
200k valid uk email address - from my tests 85-90% on average have a facebook account attached as well.
    Paid Hosting

    I could easily implement a method..:eek:r at least try something new...but I don't. Why don't I?
I blame this on me possibly being extremely lazy ;-)
however, to be honest I have no idea why I just can't do it. I just log on, thinking maybe I'll do something today, check emails/fbook/etc, 6 hours later (after just checking those sites) I look at the clock and think "whoops" maybe the next day.
However, it's June now. I first signed up to this site in janurary...and was impressed at the amount of knowledge/methods here...planning on getting to work as soon as possible.
    That's 5 months wasted.

I also have time, lots of it, on summer break since Wednesday, added bonus. Could spend 12-15 hours a day if needed.

Sorry for the kinda rant...but has anyone been stuck in a similar situation? Any advice on how to get out of it?

    Thanking you in advance,
    Joe

Do you happen to indulge in medicinal herbs? Those seem to have this effect on me :\ Anyways when you start seeing some success with your facebook campaign it will encourage you to keep going, so start now.

I once found myself in that exact situation and luckily I snapped out of it. U need to start being tough on yourself cause ur life "literaly" depends on it. Why do I say that? well.. imagine following this delusional path, thinking that u can make money and that you have all the tools/knowledge and yet when u look at your calendar and 3-5-7 years have passed you by!

I speak with a great sense of confidence when I say... that shit ain't funny!

If you had a previous job u need to recall how much you hated having someone boss you around but if you think about it.... all that bossing around produced results for that business you were part of as an employee.

I know I could literally turn this post into a long motivational entry but since I am rather busy and this is just a 10 min break I am taking all I am going to say is: U need to become your own boss following the entire sense of the word, you need to force yourself to get something done everyday, it doesn't matter what it is but force yourself to do it, because it is tough realizing that your life is passing you by and with all that knowledge you have, u still have..nothing to show for it.

Try The Action Machine. See below:

    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...hine-stop-procrastinating-get-great-tool.html

And also remember this: There are people with half of your brains who are becoming millionaires in internet marketing. Play to win . . . just for the hell of it. If there are little half-witted jerks getting rich online, why can't you?

On the downside, maybe you are afraid of success. More success means more responsibility. Some people find it easier to hand twenty years of their lives over to some boss who doesn't pay them 1/3 of what they are worth. And then when you get too old to work, they turn you out to pasture and replace you with a younger sucker who is willing to hand his life over to the boss for another twenty years.

Good luck my friend. I hope you can find the discipline and motivation to achieve success. That is something that cannot be handed to you. It is up to you to put the fire in your gut and go for it.

    Cheers! - "Wiz"

Thank you! Will download it tomorrow when I'm on my laptop

Unfortunately (as this could be the reason to my problem) I don't. I currently don't intake alchohol...or even caffeine (so no risk of burnout...I used to overdose on caffeine to be honest around this time last year)
    Thanks!
I do have about 5k friends over 3 accounts...2k of them added manually...but much easier now that I have ffap ;)
Even if I don't feel motivated/worthwhile right now, I should continue building up accounts/friends...then when I get to a certain stage it might just motivate me more :) thanks for your reply!

Thanks button us when you're on a computer :p

Hope you can get over this hurdle and become successful. I'd love to hear from you later on saying how well you have done after you've gotten past this. Peace.

Hi joemc... you've explained perfectly what happens to so many people.

Unfortunately there seems to be people who are internally easily content with things. You named the things you were able to buy and said that's all you needed. There are people who are internally content with just a few things... and there are people who seem to have that natural drive within.

I remember listening to a "motivational speaker" years ago (Jim Rohn) saying that the only thing he didn't know how to teach was the "want to".

Many people who are clever are also easily bored. Once they KNOW how to do something... they find it tedious to actually have to DO IT! So, they give up, not because it can't be done... but because THEY are not the ones to DO IT. They are the one's to come up with the ideas!

Many people on this forum are very clever and creative. Unfortunately for many, their strength is not doing the things they develop. For me, and you, and many others, I think its important to learn to play to your strengths. I had spun my wheels for many years until I understood this, and acted on it.

I'm creative and love to learn. I am a GREAT boss and a TERRIBLE employee! So I outsource almost EVERYTHING! I primarily do offline marketing for SEO... I have 4 commission only salespeople that call and sell for me. I can teach how to do it... but I won't actually do it myself! I outsource most of the work and just oversee it to make sure it is being done and being done right... and I free myself up to help out the sales folks when I can, test SEO ideas and to continue to come up with better and more ways to market my service to different niches.

I made very little money until I realized this. No one is good at everything! I now limit my involvement even in my own company... and it has been very successful. I guess its the old... "you should work harder ON your business, then IN your business".

Keep at it. Learn more about what makes you tick and hopefully you'll come up with the right answers.

As an old mentor once said to me when I was struggling... "Mike, the one thing you don't want to happen is when you die to have people walking by your coffin saying, "wow, he had a lot of potential"!!! Find a way to use your potential now!!!

Wonderfully said MagicMike. I feel i am very similar to what you wrote. I am great at coming up with ideas, but totally suck at doing the things to get it going. Did you find a ebook about outsourcing that benefited you? I have found a few on bhw, just dont have funds to pay upfront which stops me from beginning. Any ideas or helpful tips on outsourcing the way you have had success. Thanks for your ideas and support for knowing 'that feeling' that holds up all back. Mine is fear of success. I want it so bad, just scared of what it will bring. Thanks bhw family. :)

Thanks Angelluv... glad you found it helpful.

A couple of quick thoughts that you triggered... I used to think I had a "fear of success" or a "fear of failure". I found out I had something in between for a long time. It was the feeling that I would rather try something half-heartedly and fail, because I could always blame my failure on not really trying all that hard (an excuse to make me feel ok about myself), then really going all out and maybe failing... and proving my biggest secret fear... that I really wasn't all that smart... that I really couldn't do it. I wanted to protect myself from proving that, so I only tried half-heartedly, which of course GUARANTEED failure!

I guess its different for everyone... but I really had to come to grips with myself and once I did, I was able to control it a bit better.

As far as outsourcing there are a number of great people right here that would be happy to build links, make posts, build websites, etc. for what I consider to be very little money! Just review some of the posts of people who are looking to hire and you'll see a number of offers.

The key is to get one piece of business yourself... get paid... and instead of spending the money, invest it in your business by finding people that can help you.

Thanks for posting this thread! This is EXACTLY the frame of mind I?ve been stuck in for well over 3 years!

Yeah, I?ve made money online, albeit about half of what you?ve made, but I?ve been able to do it nonetheless, while still working a regular job, which provided health benefits, which I needed back in the day, until my online biz takes off!

And in looking back, I have NO IDEA why my ass couldn?t ?scale things up? and really start making some really good money, until I just read the post by ?MagicMike?, regarding fear of success and/or fear of failure! So, big thanks to MagicMike as well for providing that blunt, but much needed analysis of what?s going on inside my head 24/7! ;-)

Make sure you have a good FBML code on your facebook pages! :) They really help with the monetization/getting more 'likes' to your page part. If you search around on here and even some other forums, you will find what you need and will be able to pretty much copy/paste it and make some easy edits.

If you allready knew about this please disregard this post :)

Alright, I suppose I need a little help here too haha. One thing I find difficult in terms of motivating myself is being overwhelmed by the 392048092384 and one possible things that I could be doing, and not committing myself to just one thing. I have all of twenty dollars investment money available, have been accepted into a CPA network, have an army of cracked software and a willingness to learn, but I don't know where I should start. I got told to do something I feel passionate about by someone from this forum. So I've been thinking maybe I could affiliate market a Panic Disorder solution product, because I've been at the mercy of that and Major Depression for the last year or so. But it's just this initial breaking in I'm finding difficult.

    Sorry for thread hijacking.

i wish i could outsource studying... i guess thats the one thing that you gotta labor at yourself.. damn i can't wait to be rich though, i always feel like im at the verge of hitting success because I'm coming across all this information that just hits home.

also* if you are worried about not having the initial cash to outsource you can maybe try it this way:

simply offer a very short 1-2 day trial period for your offshore potential assisstant and have them do very basic tasks that you know will bring you back some money. it shouldn't cost more than 50$ to do this as 50$ goes a long way in the phillipines.. personally id try and pay 20-30$ for a trial period where they are only doing a simple task (that should bring in money, not backlinking) over and over.

if it fails then you gotta review the work and find out why.. anyways crap here i am again wasting my time when ive got tons of shit that needs to get done... :c
