Hi folks,
Autoblog has become a HOT topic nowadays, I too jumped on the bandwagon, hoping to look for some money to fund my new house. Anyways, after a week of trying out autoblogging, I would like to summarise what I gained so far:
Day 1 - 2: Installed wordpress, and other necessary plugins, looked and applied a nice and simple wp theme, and customised whatever required to make my first autoblog unique and nice.
Day 3: Final touch up on the design, and started fetching and posting rss feed from sources of my choice. I made it a rule of thumb to post a max of 5 posts day. Meaning, I published a post every 4 hrs and 48 mins.
Day 4: Continued posting but still disallowing search engines from knowing my blog. And, at the same time, trying to make the design perfect. I'm a perfectionist btw. I can proudly say that my autoblog even looks nicer than techchuck and mashget, and it loads even faster than any of them.
Day 5: Unlocked my blog so that search engines could start finding my blog. I submitted to ONE social bookmarking site only, and got my blog indexed in less than 3 hours.
Day 6: Total of 11 pages were indexed, including sitemap and privacy policy. Started inserting 2 adbrite ads and Infolinks (in single post page). I didn't wanna risk using adsense, and I've been making good money from my white hat blogs. And, continued my 5 posts/day strategy.
Day 7: 10 out of 11 indexed pages were deindexed from google, and left one at the time of this writing. Earning = $0.00 with total visitors of <50.
So, it seems like my autoblog is being deindexed by uncle G. And I feel demotivated. Should I continue what I've been doing OR 'cut loss' and get back to white hat? I'm fxcked.
