    Hi All,

I got a Fiverr gig for bookmarks done and received a large URL list for bookmarks. Now that I have SENuke I figure I can start posting my own bookmarks. What is the easiest way to strip down this list into usable URL's SENuke can use? Currently the URL's are in this format:

    http://bookmarkinstant.com/story.php?title=[bookmark title]

Would using Scrapebox to "trim to root" work? I know some of these have subdomains, would Scrapebox trim to the subdomain or just the bare root? For example:

    http://discounts.tutorialsbookmarks.com/technology/[bookmark title]

In this case it's got a subdomain AND a folder (technology). I'm just not sure if I should be manually stripping it down to the subdomain, or if I should keep the folder (technology - my guess is no) and whether Scrapebox will do this for me correctly.

    Thanks for your help!

Strip to root will automatically save the subdomain (since, after all, those are separate sites) and it will work for SEnuke. As long as the page you link to is hosted on the Pligg/PHPDUG engine it should work.

Thanks myownhero! Your response reminded me of another question - is there a way to check whether these sites are pligg or phpdug without manually going to each?

    Thanks again

The easiest way to tell is by looking at the domain itself:

    Pligg - inurl:/story.php?title=

    PHPDugg - inurl:/story.php?id=

If you've already trimmed to root, there's no way to really tell. You should be separating your scrape sessions (ie: not scraping both PHPDug and Pligg at the same time).
