I am creating a blog post on how to restore sessions tabs on Firefox. So in the first step I say open Firefox browser. And anchor "Firefox" with a link to the Mozilla browser download page. My keyword is "Restore Previous Session"

My Yoast SEO plugin yells at me saying "You're linking to another page with the focus keyword you want this page to rank for. Consider changing that if you truly want this page to rank."

Should I listen to Them? or is it hogwash?

I think Out bound links are suppose to tell search engines what my page is about. So I guess I should ignore it?

you can make your link no follow to keep the link juice.

but actually it doesn't matter because the page you try to link to is higher authority than your site.
