Ok, last xmas gift question. I am looking at a bunch of external HD's on newegg and I think I have found a good one.

It is the Fantom 1TB Green Drive or something of that sort for like $110 after mail in rebate. Anyone have experiences with Fantom HD or have any other recommendations for an external 1TB HD that is under $130?

Thanks

Lacey HD are good. I have one for a few months and so far so good. However, mine in not 1TB. It's a smaller size.

Western Digital works for me.. can be get cheap too.

I've got a Buffalo DriveStation but that might be a bit outside your price range, I have the 4tb model and that was a little bit over 1k, they might have a smaller drive though. It is friggin fast and very reliable.

Here's a link to an earlier post for an ext hd for only $94 with free shipping.
