Hi planning to buy the creation of an explainer video for my new website, dedicated to find reseller of my services.

I got two different provider wich a very similar price but different features:

    1) one developer it's a well know italian web marketing expert but he provide only whiteboard video, this is the con, the pro is that, since mine is an italian business, he will surely help me more with the script and the storyline

    2) second developer it's an english speaking indian based agency, active here on BHW with a lots of positive reviews, and they provide animated video at the same price, or maybe less.

The con is that, since they are not italian speaking, i'm worried that can be some difficult in the script phase and the final storytelling can be not so good.

So what is the most important: storytelling or visual aspect?

First, I think explainer videos are awesome! So much so I bought a year of VideoScribe and spent about an hour in the video tutorials learning to use the tool. Now I make videos to explain things and the benefits within the workplace are awesome...
    • first: you don't have to repeat presentations since you simply share links to videos.
    • second: the same information in a 5 minute video would take an hour to present in powerpoint... much more concise so it saves a huge amount of time for everyone.
    • third: they can't interrupt. they have to save questions for the end so they have to hear you out first which gives you a much better chance of getting your points across successfully.
    • fourth: most people think these are hard to make so you look like a rock star.
    • fifth: flawless presentation... goes exactly the way you plan regardless of presentation anxiety.
I would go with the one in your language because you will need things written in your language in the video and you will want them to proof the work and they can't do that if they don't know the language. I am sure they are both good at their trade. Ultimately you just have to pick one and give it a shot. Or do what I did and get the tool and learn to use it.
