Finally, my youtube channel was manually reviewed and can be monetized now. I have connected this channel to Adsense, because I will post original white hat content. But since I know my "method" worked for getting approved I would like to start a few other channels and partner up with some network, because I don't want to risk my Adsense account.
So what are your experiences with youtube networks nowadays? Last time I was with some network was in 2017. Do I need only 4k hours and at least 1k subs?
Which network would you suggest now? I know that year ago the best option was fullscreen.

I would like your input on this, thank you.

The best way is to provide your videos with many appropriate tags, which are useful for users who are looking for related theme videos.

If you upload content that will risk your adsense channel, networks wont accept you because it is the same story for them, if networks get a certain amount of strikes they get suspended just as you

Honestly now days networks are just a scam. I have not personally used a network before but have heard various horror stories from friends and others who have posted videos on youtube. It would be better to upload an hour long video and buy HR views that last for 1 hour for around 5$USD and your channel should bypass the check and you will now be able to get monetised.

Networks used to offer something of value weather being Music or CopyRight protection but now they are just a money grad who prey on those who are not smart enough to research into them deep enough. If you still need a network than what ever network offers you the best rate for your views would be the best regardless of any other offers.

By network you meant CPA network? I am sorry but I am bit noob in youtube thing, though I am also trying to run a channel but I thought there is only one way to monetise it i.e by adsense. How this network thing works?

Thanks for this reply. I did not now that, but few yeara ago I was getting better cpm from fullscreen than from adsense. That is why I am asking, I thought there was still some network with almost the same payout as adsense.

I would say that Adsense is the best now for whitehat IF that is what you choose. There's plenty more to earn with blackhat + affiliate or cpa but I know from experience that reddit + whitehat youtube can works wonders. Is your content reddit marketable? I've gotten way more from reddit visitors (great demographics on reddit btw) than from youtube SEO in some videos.

I know quite a bit about this. PM me if you want to talk.

Can I kindly ask you a question? I have a youtube channel with more than 10k watch hour and 7.6k subs. I applied for monetization 9 months ago. I am under review until now. What should I do to get approved? Or should I give up on my channel? Can networks accept you in short time before Adsense? I have applied before and got rejected by 5 networks with a no-lock contract. My channel has 14 videos 5 animations 9 compilation videos. And it is country specific.

How big is your channel? Usually when I post white hat videos on reddit they get deleted fast. Is that sue to low amount of viewa or sibs? Or combination?

No, it has nothing to do with either views or subs. It has to do with the content. I have enough experience with reddit to be able to tell (at least most of the time) what kind of video will make it where. It all depends on the context and content. I've had literal spam make it to the front page of a large sub and it earned me ad money but it was disguised very cleverly as a post. You just have to know what you're doing.

Again, PM me, I can tell you something about reddit but I don't have enough posts to start a PM.

Youtube can't approve monetization a channel after completing their rules 4000 hours views time and 2000+ subscribers. Three months are crossing. But not they do.

If I want to get into network I have to first go threw adsense monetization enabling and than joining a network? Or can I just apply to network after 4000 hours watchtime and 1000 subs?

I've been doing youtube for over 8 years and been working directly with a YT network for the past 3 years as a consultant for partners. Unfortunately, if you are not bringing a lot of views then you'd be at the bottom of their priority list. If you are good at managing your content and growth then you don't need an MCN. However, if you are looking at getting better CPMs than Adsense then you want to join a reputable MCN. This is because MCN has their own sales team where they can get better deals and sponsors for their networks ultimately benefiting all their partners.

You gotta be careful with what networks you get involved with, not all of them are successful in bringing brands aboard which does not help in increasing their CPMs network-wise. Don't take contracts that promise a fixed $, only give away a small % of your channel. A lot of networks want to take 30%-40% of your channel when you are small, not worth it since they won't do anything for you. You can negotiate and get away with only giving them 5-10% but it is very difficult unless you are bringing millions of views. Also, take into consideration they take the % after YT takes their share. YT takes 45% of the channel's revenue, then the MCN will take their % from your half.

    Thnx for the info.
Btw any idea what that Russian network is where all those guys with kids content are linked to?
I hear they help you out alot when you know how to animate and know how to make high quality videos.
They also help you and add you to other channels end screens and playlists and stuff, which is perfect.
Sounds logical, this way they will never run out of content creators.
I wish i knew who to contact :(

Thank you. I was following your journey thread here on bhw.
I don't want to minetize my big channels with network, because I've seen in paat networks slowly die out or that I was unable to unlartner with them.
But one of my channels will not be 100% ehitehat and I don't want to loose my adsense acc.
