Well, I want to buy some expired domains, 3 of them.

The first one has the homepage indexed on google.
The second one has around 22 pages indexed in google, but not the homepage.
The third one has around 3-4 pages indexed, not the homepage.

All the domains were dropped like 24 hours ago.

Are they good to buy? The first one I assume is. But what about the second ones?

And please don't tell me if I looked at the backlink profile etc, I checked everything and they are very good, they are local, not .com.

    Well?

    Thanks a lot guys!

The one with 22 pages should be pretty safe. Google penalizes domains and not pages so that means the if Google still indexes 22 pages, it certainly didn't get hit. Same goes for the second especially with the timeframe in which they were dropped.

I would suggest running them through: https://ismywebsitepenalized.com/ though.

Looks to me you got your hands on some gems ;)

Weird ... the one with 22 pages indexed says it's penalized. The other one with 3-4 pages indexed, says it's not. Maybe this tool is not so good?

Hmm.. The tool has proven itself to be quite accurate. Then maybe because it's still so early, because it's local you could have a little more time and see what happens to it for let's say tomorrow and day after.

The tool shows often "penalized" if the homepage is not indexed, so don't worry so much as long you have 22 pages indexed, it can't be penalized.
Try to index home page and the message should be gone.
    Cheers

Then what are you waiting for?

Not sure but I have a feeling those kind of sites are as useless as the domain appraisal ones.

To index the homepage, it will be good if I just do it through indexification.com ? Or it's not safe this way ?

If you have an account there it's fine, I do it mostly with quality text and a back link from an authority domain, that I owe myself.

Mostly the domain root gets indexed as soon as you have unique quality content there.

don't think it's a good idea to rely on tools like that, you best bet is manually doing it yourself, get a guide on that and see all the points that you need to check and do it manually.

Homepage not indexed doesn't sound good to me.. Try looking for something with homepage indexed + some internal pages indexed too.

I tend to agree to above post, when homepage is not indexed, then it is something that I may need to skip,
further with some internal pages get indexed too, that would be quite ideal.

If the homepage is not indexed but the rest of the site is - most likely the site has built either blackhat backlinks such as sape etc.
Happened to me plenty of times.

Personally I would leave it alone unless the inner pages has some impressive metrics.
