    1. I registered a DA 15, TF 15 domain one month ago, even after 20 days it is still not indexed by google. The domain was last in use from 2005 - 2014 and now i put some articles on it. In the meantime i got some problem with the shared webhosting, many times the site was down for more than 2 days. The history according to wayback machine is absolutely clean, so do you think it is a problem domain for pbn?

    2. I registered a similar expired domain with DA 10 TF 15, after setting up a blog, it was indexed by google quickly. But then i see with site: command the domain name is not on the first page. Ok, on the first page there is few text, lets say around 200 words, but in the inner pages many articles have more than 2000 words. Do you think its a problem pbn? The external backlinks are all pointed to the main site.

Just because you didnt find anything in archive.org doesn't mean it;s clean. Although rarely, it does happen that a site is spammed with onsite auto generated content and archive.org blocked from the start, and later penalized. Add it to GWT and you'll get a "pure spam" message. You could revive it, but i doubt it'll be worth your time.

Well, get social signals, few backlinks and more high quality content. Websites usually need a bit more than a month to get indexed.

No, not yet, because in other cases all expired domains got indexed within 2 weeks without adding any social signals. But i will try social signals now, you mean facebook, twitter links?

http://googleping.com/ usually works for me. I set up a nice site, put on four articles with some base pages as well and then ping it. 4/5 get indexed within a few days.

The only good and rational answer here and looks like the OP is ignoring it and going for the head in sand approach, go figure.

Ok, i got it. In GWT i see a manual penalty because of "agressive spam technics like meaningless contents or copied contents from other sites". So i will give it up and go forward to other sites.
Do you think it make still sense to setup a blog with some decent articles and wait 1 year?

People think they have a "clean archive", when actually they don't know how to check it properly.

Hook it up to Webmaster tools if the domain metrics seem worth it, check for a manual action, then use the Crawl & Render function and submit it to index.

If it doesn't index then, something is wrong.

I will try that. Usually you can use webmastertools to see penalty only if you already purchased the domain, else i can see the history in wayback machine and search the domain in google. I have no idea how to check the domain else, could you pls. give any hints?

If GWT shows manual penalty, you can only do one thing-- FORGET about the domain.

If you want to go down that route, it will NOT take that long for sure. Here's what I do in those situations - set up a nice looking site, add some content - 5-6 articles, make a FB account, twitter, and make it look like you are about to build a huge site, team in place for marketing, content etc (few author profiles in WP will do). The submit a reconsider request and say that you've made sure the domain is clean and only has good content. Might need 2-3 requests going back and forth, but usually they will lift the penalty.

    Ok just one example.

If the archive has a large break, say between 2008 and 2009, then just a single entry in 2013, which says "Not Found" or "Forbidden", you might think it doesn't mean anything.

However it often means the archive.org crawler was blocked during 2013, which is a red flag that the domain was being used as part of a network, or for Chinese spam. You can try to verify this at screenshots.com, and by checking the registration history at whois.domaintools.com.

I just set up a PBN a couple of days ago its already indexed the main page and a couple of inner pages. Did you check if the site had any sort of adsense penelty associated to it? What I like to do after some articles have been posted on the PBN I like to send bookmark links towards the site through my experience this helps the PBN get indexed in a couple of days. You can do this manually just submit to about 10 bookmarking sites.

It's just that by doing that the domain will be useless as part of a PBN because it will loose all power it once had when they lift the penalty.
