    Hello,

Registered a domain a few weeks ago, 200RD and seemingly clean history.

Had to go through just over 2m domains to find this, so I thought I'd take the chance.

    My questions are:

    1. If all links are pointing to http://example.com, and I 301 everything to non-www https://example.com is any "link juice" lost?

    2. My domain is ranking 3 keywords in the top 50, 2 are titles and 1 is closely related term. Low comp, mainly large sites with thin content around 400 words in length.

Is this a good indicator of health? Or if this domain is tainted will it climb for a bit then drop off? This information is according to Google Search Console, no manual penalties found. Been on GSC for around a week.

    Cheers

301 http to https is done by millions of sites and shoud lose no juice.

When you said expired, I guess you mean the domain was deleted, and was registered a few weeks ago. If so, if it ranks it is a good sign, showing the links pass some juice apparently.

Beautiful, I thought so but wanted to make sure I wouldn't lose any power from a 200+RD domain!

Yeah it was deleted, when I came across it I was able to register straight away. If I keep gaining more and more KW's and they stay in top 100 I assume this is a good sign?

    Thanks for your help

Just remember to check wayback machine to recover the archived content. Then you're good to go with all the link juices.

I tread 301s with caution. saw one messing a friend's anchor profile massively since it was not relevant to the site niche friend was doing

Not related to my niche unfortunately

Already done before registering, thanks anyway though
