    Hi guys,

I just found a domain which has following metrics:
    CF 23 TF 15 PA 27 DA 13 Mozrank 4.55

    31 total backlinks
    6 referring domains
    1 referring ip

Since im about to start building my own PBN I would like some feedback what you guys think.

    Four thing makes me confused:

    1. Majestic SEO shows lower metrics for root domain then subdomain (i guess most links are pointed to the www adress since im getting the above metrics when I use www. and lower when i skip the www).

    2. I cant get no PR on this one on any PR checker online.

    3. Google havent indexed the pages (old domain registered 2007 with following whois record):

Domain Status Deleted And Available Again
Whois History 9 records have been archived since 2007-09-14
IP History 14 changes on 2 unique IP addresses over 10 years
    Registrar History 2 registrars
Hosting History 6 changes on 2 unique name servers over 10 years
    Whois Server whois.verisign-grs.com

    4. It seems to have only image links which are all follow? Its a business website that changed name from .com to .se.

    Jonaz;

    1. You answered your question there already. Most links are probably pointed to the 'www' version so all you have to do is make sure to set the site up with the 'www' structure.

    2. PR in my opinion is worth nothing. Not anymore at least. So don't spend too much time trying to find domains with PR.. because they don't really make that much of a difference.

    3. Have you installed a CMS? Wordpress? Have you checked the domain for its history? Just because the metrics are 'good' doesn't mean the actual domain is. Have you checked screenshots.com, archive, anchor profile, redirects, etc?

    4. Does it only have image links? What about any others? From the sound of things it looks like this domain isn't anything special and I am quite confident you can find better ones if you tried a bit harder.

As for the feedback on the metrics, I typically try to aim for 20+ TF/CF, 20+ PA/DA and at least 10 RD. The domain you have is okay, but it's nothing spectacular. I would suggest to keep looking.

Thanks a lot buddy, I really appreciate the feedback.

I just read that domain might be penalised that is why it wont show no PR, im very much aware that PR is outdated but still can be a good guideline for old domains.

Yes it has only image links 100%, I havent installed WP yet will do so after and the history seems fine when checking internet archive. However your right I could do better... i just need to develope some good technique for finding the domains... so far using Scrapebox and it takes an entire day despite using 10 private proxies and 100/100 mbit connection on my own personal server.

Found a niche related one (in english though) with:

TF 17 CF 21 PA PA 27 DA 12 (on the www.)
26 backlinks from 13 referring domains and IPs. Anchors has been divided into 8 and 15% exactly for anchors such as website name and combinations of the domain name plus keyword. Without www it has only 10 TF and 6 CF which i guess isnt a problem since all the linkjuice is in the subdomains which can be forwarded easily before linking out.

Also I noticed you guys say if theres not many domains pointing its worthless, why? I got another domain that only has 1 referring domain which is a .gov and has TF 20 CF 25, DA 20 PA 25 and its worthless despite non spammy archor and free history?

Any feedback? Everything else looks legit, domain is from 2001 and has had 7 drops. Seems they have updated the website etc few times, same owners it seems. I cant get how many owners trough http://whois.domaintools.com, as it only says 7 registrars 7 drops.

    Any feedback? cheers

    p.s
Having huge problems finding good domains using Scrapebox. Basically im either using one of the following methods:

    1. Adding 20-40 keywords together with "links" and 10 years back as footprint. Then keep extracting links using link extractor maybe 2-4 times.. Then going trough some millions of links and finding the domains and checking in Majestic etc.

    2. Searching for resources, links etc as keywords while using edu. .gov and 10 years back as footprint. And keep extracting as above till i have a pretty large file of links and finally checking the domains to see if they avaliable + metrics.

Any feedback on this method would be appreciated, maybe i should keep going and do 2-3 days of extracting links i dont know. Using 50 proxies right now as reference..

I dont get it, i been scraping and extracting more then 3 million links and after sorting out the ones with 13+TF CF they either have problems with one of the following:

    - Too few referral domains/backlinks (usually 1-5, where only 1 is still very strong like PR5 or PR6.
    - Anchors that does not go hand in hand with original website which means someone has used it for SEO or spam (example: camera -> computers)
    - Too weak links, from none authority websites.

Is this even possible anymore?.. Im starting to doubht that after being unable to find even 1 mediocre domain afrt spending 30 hours of scraping and analyzing the best domains with Majestic... Anything above 15 TF/CF is spammed or used in ways of spam that you cant bother registering it.

The other members who posted covered the questions so I just want to add something:

You really shouldn't spend time with domains with one Ref IP or 6 ref domains. You will spend money on content, setting up thesite (either yourself - spending time, or outsourcing - $$), hosting (ongoing) and 10.00 each year for registration and privacy. Pick something stronger - 20-30 ref domains, strong links (contextual from authority sources), good metrics.

Thanks for replying, yeh you right. I just wish there was some good methods out there to Scrape, so far I havent found much better. Gonna invest in a server that can do the scraping 24/7, i wonder if 16 gb will be enough for scraping huge amount of data?

Setting up the WP takes few minutes only and writing content wont take more then 20 min, i only will link out once per PBN.
