I decided to purchase a expired domain yesterday. I checked everything in Majestic and nothing looked spammy. It was a gaming reviews website years ago (which is related to my niche) so I thought it looked alright.

I checked if it's indexed in Google and it says that it is. The old game reviews are indexed and the home page is indexed but the title that's indexed for it says "x.com - This website is for sale! - x.com" and the description says "This webpage was generated by the domain owner using Sedo Domain Parking. Disclaimer: Sedo maintains no relationship with third party advertisers."

When I click the home page that's indexed it links to my wordpress blog that I already setup. And when I click the game reviews that are still indexed for some reason, they redirect to my home page because I downloaded a 404 plugin on WP that redirects to my home page.

When is Google going to update the SERPS with my new domain? I hope it's nothing that serious because it's already been 1 day since I bought thee domain and added content to it. I hope it doesn't take long to index my new domain. What do you think?

I think you need to give it way more time than 1 day, the time depends on many factors and when google decides to crawl the site again, which could be awhile as its probably a low priority domain, I've had sites that took 3 weeks before.

There are various ways and also some paid for services that will speed this up though, if you want to do more than just pings and site maps.
Or just leave it a bit longer and chill :)

It can take up to week, so nothing to worry about.

    1. submit it to google webmaster tools
    2. wait for like 2-3 days
    3. install Yaost and change meta title and meta desc. too, since you're already waiting either way.

Don't submit it anywhere, let it index naturally. You people never learn. It has indexed a parking page, which is completely normal and you should be glad it's indexed, because you can be sure it is not manually penalized. Give it a week or maybe even two. Re-indexing often takes longer than indexing.

As guys above said, don't worry yet, wait a week or even two.
