Expired domain not indexing.... A week now

I recently got an expired domain for redirection to my money site but it been a week ow and google hasn't indexed the url..

Please what can I do? Should i go on to redirect or what?

first of all, did you restore any of its URLs that were previously ranking? Did you even add it to your GSC?? Because it might be penalized if it doesn't index, but you can't know this until you add it to your GSC.

And secondly, even if you've done these things already, it's usually recommended to let the domain sit idle for a few months before creating the redirection, so don't rush things up!
