EXPIRED DOMAIN DISCUSSION

You probably should ask specific questions rather than just a general discussion,
There are a couple of threads/posts that are really good and covering everything from buying them, picking the right ones and how to to use them effectively,
take your time, search, read then ask here

They can improve the speed of the index
But they can also be on Google's penalty list

Could you please drop such thread links? Thanks

if its the right domain for your purpose they work faster than new domains.
however a new domain can turn out just as good, it just takes a bit longer.

They supposedly have some power freshly registered domains don't have.
But I'm not really sure.

Very good. Of course there are domains that won't rank at all, but it's part of this business.
You mean even some expired domains with clean backlinks won’t rank at all? Let’s say I get clean expired domain for sports and I didn’t get to change the niche, won’t rank still?

very annoying to find
Between a clean history and a decent domain name (yes, i'm pretty harsh on my domain names)
it's like finding a needle in a pile of hay

I had domains with a very clean profile, that didn't took off at all. There are plenty of factors involved here. Of course I didn't build other backlinks to them and had only a few backlinks. But overall, expired domains are very good in my case.

There are some decent domain name sellers on this forum.

At the end of the day, people buy domain names for one or two reasons.

First, they want to recycle the SEO value of the backlinks pointing to that domain.

Depending on your budget, as well as how you layout your PBN, this can produce higher rankings for your target pages, which in turn can pull higher-quality traffic and you can turn that traffic into cash.

Another way you can make money with expired domains is to focus on brandable domains. These are domains that are easily recognizable as linked to a certain niche.

You can buy them, hold them, and then resell them.

Or, you can develop a site that caters to that niche.

I've had experience primarily with the PBN type of domains, and I can't complain.

What you'd like to do, backorder an expired domain? or you lost your domain?

Pretty good.

You can build niche websites or use them to boost your existing website via a 301 acquisition strategy.

They help in skipping the sandbox period and help in faster rankings and traffic than a new domain. :D
