    Hi,

After reading a lot of positive opinions amour GSA SER on here, I would liek to ask your opinion:

    • Is this still the best choice in 2014 after all the updates? If not which tool is better?
    • Is this the right software for a website I plan to keep a long time (so not churn and burn) or will it likely cause issues over the next 2 years or so?

There are also soooo many different tutorials out there, some of which members have commented on as being a bad choice now.

Can anybody please recommend tutorials that describe what to do for a newbie that wants to play it safe? Thanks guys, I appreciate the help a lot!!

    Thanks!

I used to use GSA every day but can honestly say I haven't even opened it up in months. I prefer FCS Networker now.
matt Woodward has some good tutorials on GSA and reckons it's still working great but for me it isn't good enough at building good quality social bookmarks and web2.0s

Thanks 2spoons, interesting. How would you rate the "Safety" of GSA vs. FCS Networker for a website with a real product (this is for my actual startup, not a churn and burn site)? Thanks!

Everybody else, I would love to hear your opinions as well! Thank you in advance for helping me out

For long term, GSA SER is suitable to generate backlinks in tier #2 and tier #3. Because backlinks which generated from GSA SER are low quality.

Don't forget that GSA is just a tool so it can be used to smash a site with thousands of links or you can be more selective and only build higher quality links. So GSA probably still has it's uses but I have moved on from that now. My link building consists of PBN links on tier 1 and FCS on tier 2 and it's working very nicely for me. No need to spam lower tiers using this method.

It never was the best quality tool. It offers excellent value, but SER has never been the best. It lacks the control options.
But yeas - you can promote long term with it with care in low/modest niches.

I think this is a long term tool as low quality backlinks are always needed somewhere down the line. I have never been a GSA master, but when used right, it does good stuff! :)
