    Imprisoned chimpanzees were released from captivity from a laboratory into an animal sanctuary.
    The chimps were used in a long series of experiments and stepped outside for the first time in 30 years.

    Wow, reminds me of myself when I stayed in my house for a whole year without any sunlight, or whatever.

    By the looks of it, that's still a tiny fraction of the space they need to live what for them are normal lives.

    Yes, but I think releasing them into the wild is a certain death for them.
    "Living" your life in a cage for 30 years gives you no opportunity to learn how to survive into the wild.
