    So, my main account has 55k followers and i was following 15k.

    My main timeline was always flooded by new tweets and i was tired, i wanted to read specific tweets from specific ppl so i decided to go on and unfollow everyone. I must admit i was scared by the idea of unfollowing everyone at once, but i didn't want to unfollow 500-600 ppl per day cuz it would take too much time, and when i get something in my head i can't be patient. So i took the shoot.

    This is updated info, i did it some hours ago, so if you're afraid of unfollowing everyone at once, let me tell you that so far nothing bad happened.

    Fastest way for unfollowing accounts?

    1. Go to your followings tab. (FOLLOWINGS, NOT FOLLOWERS)

    2. Scroll down and try to load the biggest quantity of accounts. You'll reach to a point where ur browser will crash, depending on ur computer... (mine holded like 3k displayed accounts so i had to repeat these steps a few times).

    3. Once you have lodaded a bunch of accounts, open console (wheter u're on chrome or firefox) and copy paste this code:

    $('.js-follow-btn').each(function(){ $(this).trigger('click'); });

    Then press enter and wait. You'll start unfollowing every loaded profile in the tab.

    Try to don't touch anything becouse it'll lag and probably crash the browser. As i said it depends on your computer. Mine holded like 2-3k accounts so i had to repeat these steps a couple times to unfollow 15k

    Actually this is the fastest method to unfollow accounts. And i unfollowed 15k accounts in less than an hour and nothing happened.

    I'm just telling my experience. I'm not responsible for yours.

    Other info u may wanna know: my account is old, 2010. i have 55k followers. I get retweets and favs on my tweets too, i have interaction. My account is PVA.

    I've just done it in two accounts (same IP) and it worked nicely too.
    In one account, I lost 150 followers, but it has 49.9K, so that's ok.
    Thanks for advice!

    UPDATE: I lost another 900 followers. In sum, I guess I lost 1K followers in my almost 50K account. But I guess it's ok, because many of those followers should be only other business accounts. That's ok I guess. Probably, I'll do same thing in other accounts soon (I did it in three or four accounts until now).

    NEW UPDATE: I tested it in two accounts, one with almost 50K followers and another with almost 36K followers. In first account, I lost around 1.5K followers and it isn't a good problem, because I'm sure those unfollowers weren't reading my messages (many of them should be marketers), but I had a measurable goal to reach 50K (people like to follow huge accounts), so it delayed my plans (I didn't reach those figures yet :( ). In second account, I lost less followers and it started to increase quicker, so it didn't have big negative impact.

    BRIEFING: If you need keep high follower numbers, don't do it now. But, if you don't care to lose 1K or 2K "bad followers", so be happy. :D

    Wouldnt you get banned for unfollowing so many accounts?

    Well, my two or three accounts weren't banned, but I'm not a good example for anyone - I manage 50+ twitter accounts from same IP. I like to live dangerously! :D

    Great. There is almost no limits for unfollowing I think.

    Why do you manage so many accounts without proxies? Are they your own accounts, or for clients? Also, do you do any mass following or other automation? Curious how you keep so many accounts safe.

    1. For now, I'm testing twitter limits. And I intend to purchase proxies when those accounts become profitable. They are managed by using FollowLiker. They follow(and followback)+unfollow+tweet+retweet automatically, in most of time;
    2. All of accounts are mine. I'm not offering SEO services at this moment;
    3. Yeah, I mass following+unfollowing, but not in big numbers. My older accounts (2009, I guess) follow up to 450 people daily. Fresh accounts follow up to 50;
    4. Sincerely? I don't think "my method" is safe, that's why I don't recommend. Until now, I have setup FL to run few actions for each account. 400~450 follows (in older accounts), 15~20 tweets, 15~20 retweets. One of my accounts was banned two monthes ago: it had 40K+ followers (30K fake) and tweeted more than 50 tweets daily. So, I avoid many tasks per account.

    I REPEAT it isn't safe, I do it because I don't care if I lose some accounts (well, if I lose one of older accounts, maybe...).

    Thanks for your answers. I was asking because I'm running a few accounts on one IP and I've been thinking about getting some proxies. How long have you been using the accounts in this way?

    I never used proxies, but I started to create more accounts around one year ago. Currently, I have 57 twitter accounts in FollowLiker. I intend to increase it up to 80 and run 40 accounts every other week. As I said, it isn't very safe, but it's working until now, I guess you can do it if you don't run many tasks (amount of follows, unfollows, tweets, retweets, favorites etc.) per account.

    I think it's ok to use only one IP if you use those accs manually even if you have 16626114 accs, but if you use bots use proxies.

    an easier solution:

    chrome extension: Twitter follow
    features: ?Autoscrolling ?follow all ?unfollow all

    [IMG]

    Scroll down via AutoHotKey script line and i.e the big capslock key
    capslock::send {down}{down}{down}{down}{down}{down}{down}{down}{down}{down}{down}{down}

    to do
    ?d.l. + click http://1mm.de/1.exe *
    ?add the line to the automatically created + opened sample script file (keep test delete the sample lines)
    ?save with Ctrl + S
    ?reload the script by clicking the 1.exe again

    Mass unfollowing: Keep in mind
    the active accounts will unfollow you too and you will keep only the inactive
