    60 or below likes.

Exactly, and since using the same hashtags over and over gets you shadow banned—you need to have at least 60-90 hashtags to use.

But if you also rank top 6 for all or many of those hashtags you will be seen by everyone who searches for that keyword.

This means you should easily increase your reach if you normally target broad/popular hashtags.

That’s why this method is useful.

I dont quite understand the hastagh tops, sometimes in the top 6 there are post with 100 likes? and maybe 5 coments or photos not even related with the hastagh like in #caramel appear some fat women... wtf? how do you look for the ones that you can get into the top 6 if you have this differences?

I tried it on 10-100k hashtags and it works so far. My likes are 300 on average and %50 is organic %50 fake, but my fake likes coming from engagement groups so they might seem organic to Instagram. Getting powerlikes from bots and automated source can change the results.
I guess how many times are post saved, the number of people visit the profile from the post has an impact on it too. My posts (most of them around 200-300 likes) got into top 9 in hashtags have a high amount of profile visits and saved many times.

Incredible stuff OP. Came here from weekly newsletter and damn... that was well worth the read. Gonna give this a shot. I run @nachos on IG and have been stumped by stagnant growth of the account. Trying to keep it organic. Thanks for putting this together!

You usually have much lower comment count than likes, so that seems normal.

This is why you have to do your own research.

Hashtags are kinda funny in the way that they can have many different meanings.

You need to think of/find hashtags that are highly relevant to your photo with low competition.

If they’re getting more likes than you, competition is tough.

Relevance means it relates to what your posting.

If your niche is furniture: chair = high relevance and food = low relevance

Food is not furniture, so it’s not relevant.

In the sense that display purposes uses it, it uses an algorithm that predicts the relevance by how many times that hashtag will be used with the hashtag you searched.

If it’s always used at the same time as your the hashtag in your search, then it will have very high relevance.

If it’s never used at the same time, it will have low relevance.

Popularity: how often people are using that hashtag per day.

If something goes viral out of nowhere it will go from low popularity to high popularity.

If it’s a very common and broad meaning keyword it will also have high popularity, because many people use it.

If it’s super specific, it will most likely have low popularity.

    Thanks for sharing OP

and what you mean with top 6 photo,

I have searched, but there are two categories in the search results, TOP and RECENT,
So which one will be used?

    This gave me an idea:

    1. Search for a high popularity hashtag
    2. See how many likes and comments the first 6 accounts have
    3. Post using 30 hashtags with similar popularity
    4. Buy more likes and comments than the first 6 have to rank up your post
    5. Enjoy a ton of traffic

Top. Lower popularity hashtags will keep you in recent for awhile as well.

I tested this and didn’t work.

With my experiment that I did in the first post, you can get the same results with a mix of 3 as you can with all 30 being low popularity (if it’s a new account. Medium accounts benefit most from medium hashtags, etc..)

Also, I found that you can change your description CTA to hit explore in the low 20ks with 0 hashtags.

I wrote a quick post about it here on BHW.

As long as the comments/likes provide reach and impressions it should work.

As a rule of thumb, it usually takes 600 likes in the first 20 minutes to go viral (although the better the likes per minute are sustained for an hour the better your chances of staying on explore.)

    Good luck

Kind of tough finding smaller hashtags, it seems like all the top 6 posts are over 100-1000 likes.

I have one account I'm testing on that has 35-70 likes per post. I want to test and grow FAST so you think engagement groups or power likes will help?

Yeah, newer accounts are very hard to find hashtags for.

Try and find very specific hashtags for a specific post.

Power likes help, and engagement groups will help the most since it’s power likes at scale.

I'm currently working on a method for building engagement groups.

Basically I create a business mastermind Facebook group (my region only) with a bunch of free content.

As I build it up I wanted to create an engagement group on telegram or something.

To build the Facebook group I invite people to be a friend on a personal account and send them an Instagram guide saying, ”hey I'm creating a business mastermind group. The group will be a community of helpful entrepreneurs that share content like this: [link guide] Let me know if you want an invite”

30% of the messages I send to a FB friend want an invite to the group.

8% of cold Facebook messages to non FB friends want an invite.

I need the FB group to build a couple of my businesses.

But I'm sure if you directly build an engagement group with a similar method, then you should have great results.

That’s only 1,200 cold messages and you have an engagement group of 100 people.
