Everybody Wins

First of all, I don't even know if this is viable. However, after giving it some thought, it might be a way to make some people happier.

I know there are some people on this forum who are experts at what they do, and are certified moneymakers. So, why not offer a services section, comprised of trusted, longtime members, who offer coaching (for a fee) to small groups of eager members, who are willing to learn the ropes at an accelerated pace.

Yes, I know there are posts that say "how to make XXXX amount of dollars in a day, week, or month. However, I think it's more beneficial to learners if they are actually guided along the way. Plus, it's a chance for the Black Hat and White Hat gurus to make some extra money, too.

Here's and idea:

Mini Course - Teachers can advertise a course for a limited amount of members. The teachers give a realistic goal of how much money the students can make in one month, and gives one-on-one help, and follows the students achievements for one month. If the students are having problems, they can contact the teacher via an Internet messenger program (MSN, Yahoo, Gtalk, etc.), and ask for assistance.

Students and teacher can post earning results on a thread in the forum, and can make comments if they're happy with the services provided, dissatisfied, or what can be done to possibly improve the program.

Think about it, if students are successful with the results, and students are making money as promised by following a program step-by-step, I'm sure those students would like to participate in another course with the same instructor, or try a course with another teacher.

I think as long as the course fees aren't that expensive, many people would be interested. People complain about buying a book, or course for $97, and accuse the authors of just rehashing old techniques that don't work, so this would be a breath of fresh air.

I know it's not possible for anyone to guarantee how much money someone will make off of a certain technique. However, if people are actually making more money than they made before, and continue making more money, I'm sure they'll be happy.

Of course payment methods would need to be ironed out (would you accept, PayPal, e-Gold, MoneyBookers, Western Union, etc.), as well other details, but again, this is just something I thought about last night when trying to go to sleep. The more I thought, the more restless I became, and just got up and wrote this down. Who knows, I might have just been having a nightmare!

Also, I think there should be some sort of vetting, or verification process for each teacher to offer such courses.

I think this could be a win-win situation. Anyone could learn how to make money that much faster, some of the professionals could make more money, and earn the reputations they deserve. No one would ask you to give out your top secret ideas, but those that still make decent earnings.

This is just one idea, and I'm sure many of you can come up with some other ideas to support, or reject a plan like this.

I'm the type of person who learns things, not only by doing, but from another qualified person teaching me, and showing me where I'm going wrong. It's like learning a foreign language. You can listen to a tape, or practice trying to pronounce words from a book, but the books don't correct you when you make a mistake. I think this analogy proves true for making money on the Internet for some people.

Hi Great post, I think that would be a good idea, and would be willing to pay a teacher to teach, also maybe once we start to earn some good money from what we have learnt we could donate some to the site to built more facility for members to participate in.

Yep, I would definitely like a 'teacher' for this kind of thing.

great post! i made a similar suggestion when i first joined the forum and was told to just read every thread in the forum. reading the threads have been very helpful but implementation has been a little challenging without the proper guidance and combination of tools. your approach is a lot better than mine. i am interested in seeing how the pros her respond to this.

I agree in that one can't put a guarantee like "Make ___ in ___ days!", it rarely turns out to be true in the end.

I have signed up for something like this on another forum (when I was very noob ) and have been ripped off because the 'teacher' suddenly disappeared (not implying that this would happen here).

Even though I've had reasonable success online it's far from where I should be for long as I've been doing it and what my talents are capable of.

For years I've struggled because of comprehension problems and learning difficulties. In school I was lucky to get C's working my ass off.

Unfortunately there's so much technical stuff I just don't get and never will. Installing what for some are simple scripts can take me forever.

When someone explains and shows me how to do something with guidance I GET IT!

Would be great to see something like this come together at BHW if possible.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't like the idea. I think that the "secrets" to making money online should not be sold here. If you want to share them - share them. If you want to sell them - just keep them to yourself - or at least don't broadcast that you're putting a price on your knowledge to the highest bidder. It makes people who can't afford to buy the secrets just more unmotivated, knowing that another person just bought their way into a successful opportunity that you've been working hard to get to yourself.

I think there's something respectable in doing it the hard way. Sure everyone gets their fair amount of help from people. But whoring out ideas for cash seems stupid. Yes - you'll laugh all the way to the bank while I grind out negative revenue campaigns, but I won't envy you. You gave up. You gave in. You couldn't do it and needed someone else to do it for you. I don't respect you.

I'm not saying if I had the knowledge I wouldn't be helping others. Of course I would do what I could for people I could trust. But I surely wouldn't be peddling my secrets to a forum full of people. Tell people you trust. Help people you can.

Furthermore, the more people who successfully make money online, the less people that can join them. It should be a survival of the fittest - not a survival of the richest. The people that sell their methods only hurt the entire market as a whole. Have some respect for yourself. If you didn't have someone selling you their secrets to get where you are today - why should you entertain the idea for anyone else?

There are people here that have truly put in the time, the research, and the effort to be successful. And technically, they deserve those secrets more. Instead, you'll be selling them to the people who saw ShoeMoney's adsense check and think this shit comes easy.

It doesn't come easy. It shouldn't come easy. There's no appreciation for what it takes to succeed if all you know how to do is transfer $50 to someone's paypal account for their secrets.

I've failed more times than I can count. If I add up all my losses and gains, I am negative. I know there's a very high chance I'll never be close to what some of you are. I'm ok with that - but I'll keep trying. The difference is that in the small chance that I get there, I didn't buy my spot.

If this thing happens, I hope the admins at least take down the numerous "don't give up" threads and posts. You don't need inspiration if you have the answers, right?

Wow ! This is indeed a great idea.
But, I doubt if mods or senior members are taking notice of this. Even on a conservative basis, for one person making money there are 10 who are not in this forum. And I also one of them !
