    You know others guys have already done that, right? It isn't pointless at all, if you only have a computer it's the easier way to learn networking with virtual routers and switches.
    Also you're wrong, it's not a computer inside a computer. Computer != Operating System!

    Intel already has a computer inside a computer. It was revealed that Intel has a second CPU inside the main CPU and that that CPU is not accessible to the everyday user. That second CPU can override the main CPU.

    I use virtual machines inside VM's with VMWare frequently. It is not hard.
