I've been scammed many times; learned to perform due diligence better and moved on. Smart marketers don't dwell on losses, they dwell on successes. I know every dollar scammed from me cost the scammer $10. Satisfaction enough for me. We live in a retributive universe; nobody scams and gets away with it.

I agree with that statement completely, but all in all it does suck to have your hard earned money taken from you

I been scammed few times... as far as I remember once there was a guy that was purchasing goods of me monthly, one day he asked me to trade him the goods (online goods) and he'd pay me after he get his salary, since I did good profit on him I was like ok I trust you, you're good guy... he never spoke to me after that.

The other time was one smart brainwashing kid, he mixed me a whole story about him being "damn rich" and that he sent the money on paypal and that paypal delay... and I gave him "the goods", but the money never came. All my fault though.

Once I was doing like freelance project to some SEO guy [he may be around here though], on every step I was showing him the progress and how things are going all the time.. once it was 100% done and everything sent to him, he said "Hey I wasn't looking for this, I may send you a tip on paypal". And I was like, nah it's okay, take it all for free.

I will not participate in a thread that combines methods to scam people.

Why do this? Go to the shitlist to get your info.

I'm not looking for people to explain the methods that got them scammed or methods people on this forum use to scam others? Just simply putting up a post where people can talk about there bad experiences?

I don't know nor care why you posted this, I do know the end result.
You want people to talk about what happened, in the process of doing that they will give the method. Others will pitch in on how the same thing happened to them only "whatever" was different.
The end result is an ebook in scamming 101.

Lets talk about how our dog died if you want to make this into a support thread. :) I am all for stopping scammers but this is not the way.

Back in the days when you bought CL PVA's instead of forwarded phone numbers I bought a bunch of CL PVA's via Paypal that I never received. That happened many times.

You can say what you want but I'm not really one for scamming other people. Like to keep it clean but if you don't want to take part in this thread then your free to stop posting ;)

I was talking about the end result. You don't seem to care about that and now I am starting to wonder why that is.

There is no point in this sort of threads, nothing good can come from it.

I said something very similar to this in a religion thread. I mentioned it was dangerous and was also against the rules. All I got out of it was a neg rep of -10. Later on the thread was deleted anyway along with the notification of my neg repping. Never got my 10 rep back though.

I don't know OP's intentions but I don't believe he intends to collect scamming methods. If you strongly disagree with this thread I would simply just report it or rate it a one star or whatever. No need to get into arguments. If the mods agree with your point they'll simply delete this thread.

It's what I should've done and intend to do with any other thread that makes me care enough to spend a few seconds on it.

Guys try to think also the opposite way. By giving here the stories how people got scammed others can learn from the faults those scammed people did. I have read many threads like this one and it helped me save my money and therefor did not get scammed many years ago. I think it is a very good method to share with others. I will ask you one question. How the heck should an ordinary person learn to protect himself from being scammed when nobody would share his own story togehter with an advice? There is no way somebody will give a guide how to scam because by giving this info he is also making it public and the potential scammer will have fewer options to scam the same way again when his method goes public. Come on, donĀ“t be so paranoid and lets fight the scammers and fraud in some way! To be silent is the worst way how to fight this shit and I think this is a good thread. Yeah maybe I am new and it should be discussed in the shitlist thread but in that case it can be moved by a mod anytime to the right place.

We are all geniuses on BHW and are much too smart to fall for any scam (lol). :D

All kidding aside, who the heck wants to talk about the fact that they
got duped? . . . You take your licks, learn your lesson, and keep moving
forward. That is all you can do.

If you want to be educated regarding the many ways people have been
    scammed, just check out ripoffreport.com.

There are unscrupulous individuals in this world who are concocting new
ways to remove your hard-earned money from you as we speak. The
best you can do is to look at someone's previous track record. If they
have a history of satisfied customers, then it is unlikely that they would
want to risk losing their established reputation by scamming you for a
few hundred dollars. Ultimately, there are no guarantees when it comes
to doing business online. All you can do is take precautions, plop your
money down, and hope for the best.

Caveat Emptor (Latin for "Let the Buyer Beware").

Send a check or money order for $25,000 to Diamond Damien (owner of BHW). :D

Just kidding. I am a super moderator. That is why I have the green lettering and
gold stars. The red stars mean that I have made over 2000 posts on the forum.
