While analytics provide useful data, they don’t always capture the full picture of content performance.
I’m interested in how others here assess success beyond standard metrics.

Looking at how content resonates with loyal users can be more telling than just impressions or clicks.

Bit of a tough question, that. Metrics is pretty much the best indicator of performance when it comes to these things. Going by vibe isn't really the most reliable.
I guess if it comes down to it, you could say an increased volume of engagement on your posts (for example) is a good indicator beyond the usual metics. Repeat customers, perhaps brand recognition, the type of followers or audience you attract, those are good ones too.
That sort of indicates good longevity before it reflects on the metrics or stats.

If a post sparks discussions or gets bookmarked that’s a better sign than just views or clicks.

True, analytics are helpful, but they never tell the full story. A lot of people here look at things like audience feedback, repeat engagement, and whether the content drives meaningful actions or discussions. Those qualitative signals often say more about real impact than standard metrics alone.

I mean just asking past customers what they think about it.
