It's going to flop, they are too obsessed with an ideology rather than actually making a good search engine. The average person anywhere just wants good results and a reliable service they don't care about privacy.

If you say Europe = Germany, you might go back to school and learn Geography. To be on topic, Cliqz is only in German, French and English.

Qwant is the EU privacy focused search engine, has been around for a few years already and it's pretty good, but we're all used to google and it's the only search engine out there, but in a world that is slowly being more aware about what privacy means it may get some userbase and maybe force google/bing change some of their policies.
