...how has the influx of refugees affected your day to day life?

I've seen what the news reports on. I've seen the perspective of the social justice warrior through Reddit, etc. But I'm curious if it's had any effect on your lives.

    Don't get political.

I've been raped 14 times today and it's only 1.30pm

In all seriousness, I don't think I've even seen one.

Everything is same here in Bosnia. I saw couple of them today but they were just passing through.

They're going to western countries they said since they heard there's some guy that they can rape easily...

I live in a neighbourhood (or rather a block) which is literally filled with immigrants along with students. No problems whatsoever during my two year time here even though the block has somewhat of a reputation of being restless.

The only thing that is different to what I'm used to is that whenever I go outside most of the people I come across are of different skin colour than me.

I have some refugees in my neighborhood. I heared a lot of bad stories about them (they shit in a friends garden), but I never had any problems so far.
Some supermarkets have hired securities because they are stealing a lot.

No problems so far, I myself am from an immigrant background but it it heartbreaking how fake stories are being spread about them. The scum that is between them needs to be jailed, but 99,5% of them are good people

There were many here in my country, but they were mostly passing trough to Germany or whatever country that gave them the most money. I honestly didn't see any of them.

Fun fact - my country is paying "volunteers" like $70 a NIGHT just to "watch them" (read - eating, sleeping, watching TV...).

I live in England and I often go to France. I have not seen a single refugee in England, and in France the only refugees I have seen are the ones which are living in the "slum," around Calais which have been there from the very first time I went to France when I was 6 with my parents.

Admittedly England is different to Germany in the fact that we refuse to take anyone anyone in basically.

The English policy on Migrants and immigration summed up in a single picture:

Im from Germany and in fact, it has impact. I live near Frankfurt , alot of them are here and there are problems occuring every week with them. Women are being harrased, like my girlfriend just leaved the doctor and there was a group of them whistling and shouting after her saying words in German like " Fuck, Kiss ". You see them in the cities, Walking in groups, sitting on public places- that isn't bad, but no foreign wants to sit there anymore. It all depends where you life, but you can see the difference between them and us. And these people , a big group of these people will not integrate into the society. I don't know how to say all this in english, but it's a Problem. If you never had contact with them, it's truly understandable that you have no Problem with this refugees. But when you get in touch, you will change your mind. We had many people before coming here, they do not integrate too. Lets See what the time brings.

This place isn't safe at night or never was for past 5 years but I came from somewhere else to live here and it's normal that Belgian people see my in different way even tho I'm just a normal guy doing my thing

UK resident here. Refugees have had a net positive effect on my life and those around me, we now have something to complain about other than the weather, neither of which inconvenience us terribly...if I'm honest we're as happy as pigs in shit here in Blighty.

I am an expat living in Serbia. Last year it was worse when it came to general hygiene in Belgrade. It was the dirtiest time in the city. Now they are not so many here. I feel bad for them many a times but at the same time I do not understand why they don't want to go to Turkey, Iran, Lebanon etc where there are so many Shia Muslims.
