    Hello Folks,

I was wondering that nobody here is talking about eToro. I get the most money I make online from their affiliate program!
But first I should clarify something: eToro is a FOREX broker which pays out a lot of money - perhaps like some poker or casino affiliate programs. BUT eToro (and forex trading in gernal) is LEGAL! (that the real big difference to gambling affiliate programs ;) )

About the plattform: eToro has designed a trading software which is more looking like a game and therefor it possibly attracts more people - more "gamers" and even "normal" users that want to "get rich quick", "make money online",...

    eToro PAYS:

    25 % Revenue Share
    OR
up to 200 $ CPA (= deposit commission)

    AND
    20 % Tier commission (<- that's my commission if you make $$$ on eToro ;) )

I'm making really lots of money with the revenue share model. And everything is negotiable - so if you are really successful with eToro you will get to the next commission level. ;)

The catch with this affiliate program is simply:
You will get many problems if you promote this programm to U.S. customers, because there you have the NFA and for the NFA trading is probably not fun. Your ass will get kicked to the moon...
eToro have also an affiliate program for the USA but this is very regulated and it's not very easy to get approved by eToro to promote their plattform to U.S. people. Furthermore you don't get paid based on revenue share in the US affiliate program. So for example if you managed to get a trader who is gambling away 4,000 $ (which isn't very much money in forex trading) you don't get 1,000 $ (= 25 %) rev share instead you get only your CPA commission. So I only recommend to promote the non-US affiliate program to non-US customers. That really rocks like hell!

However, their website, trading plattform and banners (gif/flash) are available in nearly every language so if you can get traffic from europe, japan, china, the arab emirates or elsewhere -> I can really suggest that you should give eToro a try and register here

http://www.etoro.com/TJoinT2_A7090_SBHW.aspx (<- link with my affiliate id!)

or here http://www.etoropartners.com/ (<- same link without my aff. id).

So, well, if you got any questions - I will try to answer them.

    Greetz,
    Wini

Casino and poker programs are not illegal where i come from and they're legal in most jurisdications. This is just a way to promote your affiliate link. If you offered free coaching on your methods maybe ppl will sign up under you but if you offer nothing in return they most likely ownt - just the way it is im afraid.

I'd probably be less sceptical if you hadn't posted your affiliate link!!

You don't actually say how much you're earning and/or posted screen shots to back up your statements either.

I might make most of my money from say, Adbrite, but if it's only a couple of dollars then I doubt anyone is going to be interested!!

It depends on the jurisdication, but in most european countries (except from UK) it's illegal and I thought it's also illegal in the USA. Furthermore it doesn't matter if YOU live in a country where promoting casino is legal - if you promote it to people who live in a jurisdication where the promoting is regulated you can get in trouble....

    But that's not the point:

Not really but I'm not unhappy if someone signs up under my affiliate id. ;)

Okay, I thought I would get more program related questions which I could answer in this thread - but people always want a step-by-step guide to make money online.... ;)

So if someone is interested: I'm doing just plain white hat stuff. Boring old cheap white hat. I've got 2 pages - one broker comparision site (where I also promote other aff.programs but eToro pays the most!) which ranks really fine and one single landing page (topic "work from home") which I promote with AdWords. So on one page I get my traffic from SEO and on the other I get it from PPC.

Many people will maybe be disappointed but hey, I say it again: This is online marketing - not rocket science....
Onpage optimization, straight link building, AdWords setup, keyword research, campaign optimization,...over and over again.... That's all.

That's really all. And of course: Yes, you can make with every aff. program money by this way, but what's nice is the recurring payment. If you reach the point where you got a bunch of traders you can do nothing as well and you will get your recurring income by revenue share. That's the point.

If you are interested -> drop me a pm.

If I was to promote forex, etoro will be my first choice but there is simply too much competition in forex world..did a research before and etoro came on top of my best forex affiliate program.

    Wini23,

    How are you promoting eToro?

And with Rev Share how much do you average in commissions / player?

I've been looking to do some Forex PPC for a while, but it's insanely saturated and you end up competition against the forex sites themselves (not other pubs).

I see eToro is also on some CPA Networks, NeverBlue for example have a $115 CPA for a $50 deposit.

    Hey cupid,

the NeverBlue deal, 115 $ CPA, seems to be a good deal to begin with. But by promoting eToro there are many factors which have an impact on your income. After calling several times with my AM I've got a special deal with eToro now, so you can't compare my profit with the standard commission plans....

But I've calculated the CPA commission on the CPA plan which eToro got on their site: I would get 119.39 $ per trader in this month. With pure rev share and the standard plan it depends even more on the traffic quality.

For example: If you are promoting your landing page with keys "earn money from home" or something like that you get low-quality customers. They make a first time deposit of 50-150 $ (that would be your CPA commission if you take this plan) and trade a bit that your earnings on pure rev share would be around 40-50 $ (rev-share plan). Most traders/players have their money burned down after that and won't trade any more with eToro. So on this way the CPA commission will be much higher than the rev share.

On the other hand I've managed to get 4-5 traders with high competetive keywords. Fore example take the key "forex broker". People who search for a forex broker have probably the disposition to trade. To trade much money. I've earned from this traders approx. 800.00 $ and more per trader.
It's very hard to find these traders. I've got only a few of these traders and you've got to advertise in the right places to reach these guys....

Thanks for the info Wini23. I signed-up with eToro (and a couple of others) I while back, but haven't done much with them yet. Quick question, if I may? Did you know much about Forex trading yourself - in other words, do you think it's important to have a good working knowledge of Forex to be able to market it effectively? I know I could just rewrite a few articles, and throw up a basic site, but I'm meaning do you have to understand it to make good long-term money in such a competitive market?

I looked at these forex platform affiliate programs last year but was quite skeptical about their claims. Including whether they actually pay you for your work.

@bobski: Well, I trade also with forex and commodities but not with eToro. ;) When I've started promoting eToro I was very clueless about forex. eToro is more a broker for (absolute) beginners I think. But the better you write/compile your content the better traders you get.

    @natjay: I can tell you that they pay....really.... $$$ ;)

To get back to bobski's comment:

Well, you need no really good knowledge about forex - there are many good resources out there. Search for them and rewrite the content. Also language arbitrage could be nice -> just translate the english market analysis by bl00mberg or any other finacial news provider into other languages (remember: eToro is available in many different languages - so why not try to enter the arabic market?).

Just my 2 USD cent. ;)

Thanks Wini32, that's an excellent idea!

I've got an autoblog setup pointing to my main site (using wp-o-matic) and I'm trying the SEnuke free trial... just getting into the keyword research

BTW are there any other brokers you'd recommend for advanced/experienced forex traders? (ones that are good for us affiliates :)) I want to suggest a range of options for beginners/medium/advanced

    thanks again, bobski

Well, there is also ForexYard. You may sign up to their affiliate program here

    http://www.affiliateyard.com?referer=880

(or here http://www.affiliateyard.com [without giving me the credits]).

ForexYard is a bit more for the "professional" traders. They got not the "casino" touch that eToro has. The commission depends on the traffic you can bring - if it's good traffic they pay you not only the CPA but also a revenue share. You may start with CPA commission plan (100-300 $ per account).

You may also give AVA FX a try:
    http://www.avafx.com/affiliates/
They have a professional software so far and you don't have to sign an IB agreement for promoting them for CPA commission. If you want the real revshare commission you have to sign an IB agreement. That's also no problem but they are not really into internet marketing so far (there you got no subid tracking, no backend and no realtime stats).

    Thanks again

I'm already with Forexyard, otherwise I would have used your aff link :)

I know what you mean about brokers like AVA. I've been investigating other online trading options, and many of the brokers allow you to become an "Introducer" but are not really geared up for IM/Affiliates

I've known etoro for some time and been wanting to promote them. But I've done some research and seems like they scam the customers. Do they scam the affiliates too?

I have a really great idea but I wouldn't want it to go to waste. Just want to know any of you guys have been paid by etoro?

I can tell you they definitively not scam their affiliates!

It's more the other way round: If they see that you are bringing them really much and/or good traffic you get contacted by your AM and he/she will offer you a better commission plan.

But perhaps I should mention that it seems a bit difficult at the beginning. For one user who deposits real money (which brings you the commission) I need also at least 9 users who register just for a demo-account and so on...
