On a brand new domain. Obviously it would depend on if you were using your own PBN's, buying pbn packages on BHW etc (just took a quick look there and saw a package for 10 posts for $150), guest posting (probably cost anywhere from $5 to $25 per post on the affordable side) or buying some other form of links...

Given these are pretty competitive amazon niche keywords

best coffee maker 22,000 search volume
best hair dryer 14,000 search volume

How much do you think it would cost? How much do you think someone would need to spend in order to rank in the top 5 of each depending on the strategy? A few hundred? Thousands?

How much would you guess people who are in the top 5 for competitive keywords like

    best refrigerator
    best microwave
    best blender
    best juicer

etc have had to spend on links in order to get there?

In order to rank for these keywords, you will have to spend heavily on good quality in depth articles ideally written by experts in the field. SEO would be secondary as affiliate sites need to deserve ranking at the top on Google for you to pass manual review. So its not just about cost, even if you spend $500 and gt things wrong, you would lose out.

Not necessarily; I have seen some sites with top rankings who have maintained their rankings and they have just a few articles... no need to hire a writer if you yourself are an expert in the field yourself and a great writer who can crank out the necessary content. You don't need a ton of content either. I've seen many rank with less than 10 articles/product reviews.

For example, I feel like I am a true expert in the field that my niche sites are in and would know more about it than 90% of writers. I know so much that I don't even need to do extensive research. My niche sites are about fields that I truly am an expert in.

Also, writing articles about things like coffee makers and fridges isn't necessarily brain science. Anyone with a higher than average intelligence would be able to get it pretty quick and be able to write in depth "expert" articles on the subject after reading the reviews and some other articles themselves. It's not exactly brain surgery here.

Why aren't you working this out for yourself?
Can't see anybody being arsed to do the research unless they want to use the KW's.
Your account is from 2009 so I presume you know how to research this.

Why are you posting keywords you want to use? Something tells me you're more interested in talking rather than doing.

You shouldn't expect free work from anyone. Some of us have lives. Like today for example I have to sit here and act important.

These are not keywords I want to use. Obviously since I've been here since 2009 I would know better than to post my keywords on a message board with a bunch of black hatters.

I posted these keywords because they are good examples of competitive amazon niche sites. These are the most common keywords in amazon niche that everyone and their mom are aiming for.

Pretty much 95% of posts on BHW are of people asking questions they should be able to research on their own.

My question is no more dumber than 95% of the other topics on here.

OK, so my answer is $10.50 for the first 3 and $5000 for the others

There is no such thing as this amount for that keyword.

It depends on the competition, if competition is low or medium it can take around 50-100$ but if the competition is high than it may cost around 200$.

$50 on keywords like that would get you nowhere. I would guesstimate anything from a couple hundred to a couple thousand bucks paired with a whole bunch of quality content and an aged site. But then again, I wouldn't go after such high comp keywords anyway.

No one makes these sites trying to aim just for best.... it's just an example of a primary keyword

obvious they would be going for secondary keywords like

    best contertop microwave
    best convection microwave etc

and you would also aim to rank for the specific models not to mention things like

    panasonic microwave etc

fact is if you rank for something like "best microwave" all your interior pages are going to rank as well for secondary keywords, buying keywords like microwaves under $200, specific models, etc

where did I say someone was going to aim for just one keyword?

amazon niche sites that end up ranking for "best product" can end up ranking for 10k keywords total
