    This woman basically used social engineering to convince popular people to give her access to their social networking accounts in order to gain huge amounts of followers. Pretty sure I've read methods similar to that on this forum; looks like this ESPN employee actually decided to take action on one

    I guess this is "Thinking outside of the box" marketing. It's ingenious in a way yet so wrong. It's like performing on site SEO for a client, having access to their site(s) and building links on your clients site(s) without their permission/consent.
