Escrow, Need some help.

Yesterday, I sold a site for $4800, Not at flippa)) I wish to take payment with Escrow. Please clear my some doubts about Escrow.

Site is making, $800 per month. Buyer want to test it, ( that's fine, i have no objection as every thing i claimed is true)

Question is, how much time buyer can test it? if buyer want to test for 1 year ( lol, then no time in selling) even 30 days is not acceptable to me. But please tell me, how much time is reasonable, to check every thing?
Secondly, with Escrow can he ask for Revenue test? i mean he want to run the site for 2 weeks, and then he will let me know? Is it okay?

I m asking, because i have no idea about it, Please suggest me, the best practice about Escrow.

By the way, he can check AWstats for last 3 years. I really don't understand the reason for 15 days Rev test. Asking this question, because, if he is asking for 15 days test, he will make around 400, then the only thing he have to do is, send an email, that..( its not good enough). I can't open an other thread of being scammed LOL

As a seller it's quite hard to be scammed using Escrow.

You agree on an "inspection period" and in that time you should transfer the domain and site. If the buyer complains about the revenue, Escrow offer no protection. All you'll need to do is dispute it and Escrow will release your funds.

It's really quite simple so wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah you'll be safe with Escrow. Just set the inspection period to however long you and the buyer agree that he can test it for. So if he wants to test it for a week, set the inspection period to 7 days.

On another note, how did you only get $4800 for a site making $800 per month? Is the income passive, or is it something that you have to work for?

I'd think you coulda gotten more than $4800 for an $800 per month site especially if you have 3 years of history like you said.

Sold and bought lots of sites with escrow, I never had any problem. I think the max inspection periode is 3 days.

its 12 auto blog network, But use have to do link building. I gave him a guide, how to do it. this network is working since 2008. and no effests of google slap.

Hi I have one question in my mind if buyer forgets to accept or reject merchandise in the inspection period. and after expired inspection period escrow automatically sets buyer accepts merchandise. Escrow sends written 48 hours notice to the buyer. If buyer contact with support in this time period and complaint earnings are not expected. Then who will win the case.
